Swara had done the most horrendous thing possible.

Everyone has heard of robbery and thieves breaking into someone's house but...

Ever heard of a literate person, with a stable career and an amazing family commit something like this? To clear your doubts....no, I don't mean a burglary. Just so you know...

Swara broke into Vansh's house.

She pretty well knew about Vansh's house, so it wasn't new for her to know about the backdoor they had that they left unlocked for the house helpers to enter.

Going against her values, she broke into someone's house because she knew she wouldn't be welcomed there and her curiosity for finding out a valid connection had her do the unthinkable.

She crept into their house and finding no one in the hall she tip toed into Vansh's old room. Hoping for it to not be changed completely.

She knew the amount of pain and nostalgia she's going to feel but did she have a choice?

Honestly, yes she did. But she till decided to quench her curiosity.

Vansh's room wasn't locked luckily and that was a boost for her to dig deeper.

Much to her fear, Vansh's room had completely changed. They had beautifully decorated the whole room with different kinds of colors but right now? It was plain white. They had created a movie corner together and the only thing that remained constant was the furniture and the popcorn machine they had bought.

Swara's eyes were moist remembering the happy moments with Vansh.

She smiled at a memory of him making her laugh when she was at her worst. She noticed the balcony that was hub to a lot of emotions.

This is where he used to secretly call her at nights when they were unaware of how they felt for each other. This balcony was from where he sneaked out to attend parties with her and let her sneak in to spend some time together.

Every corner of his room brought back memories.

His almirah was a little away from the side wall... which was a very good place to hide, that spot couldn't go unnoticed, this was where they shared their first kiss.

She smiled at how the completely changed room could still make her feel full of emotions. She couldn't resist crying and hence she pressed her palms over her mouth trying to suppress the pain and empty feeling she got with nostalgia.

Get yourself together!; She thought to herself, walking towards his table.

When she opened the drawer, she realized that it wasn't his things anymore. It was definitely Vansh's room but his things weren't in the room anymore.

Is someone else living in his room?; The fear to get caught increased.

She looked around making sure no one was there.

I have to make it quick.; She made up her mind.

She rushed towards the almirah and tried to open it. The one that opened had some clothes, that she assumed it to be Vansh's but it wasn't. The other almirah that was comparatively small was locked.

After a lot of failed attempts she got frustrated. Holding her head in agony she kicked the almirah.

She wanted to cry and scream for failing at finding out things.

She froze hearing some commotion outside the room. I need to leave; she thought, running out of the room.

She came running out of the room only to notice Vansh's mom on the staircase, Swara freaked at the sight and since she had nowhere to run, she went inside the room, huffing and puffing, desperately searching for a way to escape.

Her eyes couldn't ignore the huge balcony. She remembered how Vansh had made cubical dents like stairs beginning from the side of his balcony so that it could be easier to sneak out and come in on time.

She rushed towards the balcony only to be disappointed by another change. Those carvings had been filled and now it was just a plain wall.

Swara thought of hiding under the bed or something but she heard the click of a door and she was too scared to turn around and actually see who it was.

Jumping down the balcony was one choice and she was successful enough to make her way to the balcony and try to stand close to the railings. Vansh's room was at a great height, hence her fear of heights did not let her do this.

Another door click had her tremble but she knew jumping was not an option for her.

She turned around to prepare herself to face the inevitable but unfortunately, her leg slipped and all she could see was the beautiful dusk but she was too scared to admire the beauty above her.
