Swara was already awake and getting ready for the post marriage rituals. She had no idea how to drape a saree...so, very intelligently she had packed half sarees and lehenga for the post marriage functions.
(Half saree is like a long skirt with a crop top like blouse and a long scarf that you can just tuck one side of the scarf on the skirt and the other end you can drape it over your shoulder...which looks similar to a saree.)
She was done with her make up and dressing up but was unable to find her jewelries. 'Oh God!'
"Where did I keep the jewelries?" She had searched every bag and every jewelry bag she had brought.
"Second drawer on the left" She heard Kunal guide her.
Listening to him, she immediately found her jewelries.
"Thanks! I am really careless sometimes...I keep forgetting where I kept my things." She said while immediately wearing her jewelries.
"No! Actually, I kept it there." Kunal clarified.
"Ohh!..Ohhh!.OK!" Swara replied while looking at Kunal through the mirror.
She desperately wanted to know why he bothered to clean her mess but she thought it would be inappropriate.
"I have mild OCD so...I thought of cleaning it up! Hope you didn't mind." Kunal had no reason to explain his actions to her but for some unknown cause he explained it to her.
Swara was unable to speak, she didn't know what to reply. Kunal was quick enough to identify the awkwardness and so he chose to divert the topic.
"Aarav! Aarav! Wake up! you have school."
"5 mins papa!" Aarav kept saying.
"Dr. Kunal! Why don't you proceed for a bath...I'll wake him up!" Swara offered.
"Are you sure?" Kunal wanted to clarify.
"Yeah! Totally!"
Kunal gave her a smile and proceeded to freshen up. As soon as he entered the bathroom Swara held on to her neck that was terribly hurting while sleeping on the couch. She dug into her unpacked luggage to search for an ointment but she couldn't.
Quitting the idea of applying the ointment she planned on waking up Aarav.
"Aarav? Wake up child!" She said in a sweet melody.
"5 Mins!" He said again.
Swara climbed on to the bed and and started caressing his face with the tip of her fingers that felt like a tickle to Aarav.
He began giggling hard and Swara enjoyed the sight of his laughter.
"Mummy Stop!" Aarav yelled.
Swara abruptly stopped upon hearing the word...she felt a rush of emotions she never felt before.
Aarav who was still giggling, stopped and slowly opened his eyes. When he saw Swara seated beside him and not his mother he immediately sat up straight with the same pout on his face.
By Now, Swara knew this pout portrayed his anger.
KNOCK KNOCK
Swara heard another Knock on the door.
As soon as she opened the door, she saw her mother in law stand there, already dressed up.
She scanned Swara from head to toe, this made her nervous.
