Swara was lying down, with the quilt on top of her as her eyes were fixed on the silver ring she was wearing. It wasn't pretty at all, it was actually Kunal's ring that was very big for her. She had to hold it in place so that it didn't fall off.

The moment Swara agreed for the marriage, Kunal announced to the family that he wishes to get married within three days, He can't take off from his work for longer than that because his patients would have to suffer. Well! This was something she understood too but she felt bad seeing the look on her father's face.

It would be Kunal's second wedding but it was Swara's first wedding and if not her, at least her parents had a few dreams about how they would get their eldest daughter married. With disappointment, her parents had to agree because they were the bride's family.

Kunal also added in that, three days from now they will get married and all the rituals and ceremony can be held within these two days. Very close family and friends would be invited because he specified on not making it grand.

Half heartedly, The Jaisingh's agreed to it. If only Swara could do something for the disappointment her parents had but she was too busy thinking of how she would tell her parents that this man whom she's marrying has a 5 year old son already. Now, is when she had realized that she would have made a mistake but the happiness her 'Yes' gave to her parents was precious and she just couldn't take that away from them.

As they had a very less time to prepare, Kunal immediately pulled off his ring and put it on Swara's ring finger and he asked her to do the same. Swara looked at the ring she always wore on her thumb, fidgeting it for while in confusion but soon had taken it off and slid it on Kunal's ring finger. That's it! they were engaged. Now, they had one ceremony less.

Swara was having a sleepless night and she was confused like never before. She turned around to see her sister snore while sleeping. Carefully, she got off her bed and walked to her parents room but stopped upon hearing them awake.

"Today is the best day of my life!" Her father exclaimed.

"Our daughter will get married, I thought after Vansh she would never marry!" She heard her mother sob.

"At least teach her how to cook a few sweets and dishes for the post marriage rituals there!" She heard her father cry in happiness.

The little ounce of courage she had had dissolved. She had no courage to tell about the son Kunal has. She knew her parents would oppose this marriage.

She controlled her emotional breakdown because 'crying is weakness' was her motto.

Silently she went back into her room. Sitting on her bed, she pulled out the drawer and took out a box of Needles and threads. She pulled out a black color thread and started surrounding it at the back of her ring. This was her method to make that ring tight enough to perfectly sit on her finger.

Flashes of his beloved wife came back to him and his heart broke. He felt like he was betraying her but he hoped his wife from the heaven, understood his actions.

"I am sorry Avni! but I promise I will never let her take your place."

He took his quilt into his fist, controlling this feeling of hurt within.

Tomorrow was their Mehandi and Sangeet ceremony and what bothered him more was Aarav's return tomorrow. Aarav liked spending his vacation in Avni's parent's house and Kunal couldn't stop him.

The moment Aarav got to know about Kunal getting married to someone, He had stopped talking to him. He was hurt and he shouted continuously..."No One can take my Mummy's place! No one!!!"
