"You will never be my Mother, Never ever!"

Aarav's words were revolving inside Swara's head. She definitely did not expect him to accept her quickly but such a strong denial? Now that she was ready to tie knots with Dr. Kunal Roy Chand...She was wondering if she was selfish or did she really mean those words she told on her Mehandi day.

Her eyes quickly travel to her decorated hands, that have Kunal's name written on it. She turns her palm and admires the mehandi on the other side too. Her eyes gradually falls on to the elegant bracelet made of gold. it is a very interesting piece as the bracelet has five attached rings to it for every finger.

Noticing the jewelry a warm tear drop of memory rolls down her cheek. She stares at her ready self in the mirror. The red Wedding lehenga she was wearing...Her elegant Make up... The headgear...The nose ring...Her entire look is exactly how she had imagined herself on her wedding day...The only difference being that It is not the same person she had imagined her marriage with.

Swara wipes her tears... and blatantly stares at her reflection in the mirror. Aarav's hate for her reminds her the reason why she actually agreed for the marriage. A loveless marriage, A Husband who doesn't want a wife but a mother for his son, A son not related to her by blood and who did not like her in the first meeting and A family who will never love her the same way they would've loved their previous daughter-in-law...It was a perfect way for being punished for what she had committed.

Here, Swara was selfish . She never once thought about that little boy, all she was looking was a way to punish herself. Selfish woman indeed.

"Swar--" Mala entered the room and her eyes were filled with joy and ride...Seeing your daughter getting married to a well to do family is definitely a proud moment for her.

"Kitni Sundar Lag rahi hai meri Bachchi! (My daughter is looking so beautiful!)" Mala cried in Joy.

Swara immediately stood and hugged her mother tight. She was controlling her ears with every bit of strength within her.

"Dad? Can I talk to you?" Kunal heard Aarav call him from outside his room.

Kunal was already ready...waiting for his family to call him for the Barat. It wasn't an easy decision for him too but somewhere Swara's words in the Mehandi Ceremony had assured him that she would be very capable of providing that missing love to Aarav and that was enough for him.

He knew he would never love her but at least she could be trusted unlike other girls whose faces turned pale upon hearing about Aarav.

He was wearing a golden Sherwani, Unknowingly that would perfectly contrast Swara's lehenga. As a part of his wedding garment he was wearing a red achkan (Men's scarf) with a red pagri (Turban). Every notion about men being brave and unexpressive was turning false on Kunal as he was nervous himself.

Marriage is not a relation that forms between two individuals but it is a ritual that binds two families together.

Kunal was now understanding the meaning of these words even though it was his second marriage. The funny part being...during his first wedding he was ecstatic to marry Avni because he had been dating her for around two years before they got married but this was not the case with Dr. Swara.
