"Hello? Chiku?" Sheetal spoke from the other side of the phone.

"Yes! Maa...I have to actually g-" Kunal began replying but halted hearing his mother's tensed voice.

"Aarav is not yet home!"

"What do you mean by not yet home? Ramu is suppose to pick him up by one."

"That's what! Ramu says that Aarav is not in school."

"Give me a minute Maa...I'll call and find out."

Kunal placed the documents on the desk and began dialing a number.

"Hello? Ramu?"

"Ji Saab Ji!(Yes sir!)"

"Where is Aarav?" Kunal questioned.

"Sir! I am outside the school but he hasn't come out after dispersal."

Kunal cut the call in frustration and began dialing another number.

"Hello? Is this Lata ma'am?" Kunal spoke.

"Yes! May I know who's speaking?" Lata replied from the other side of the phone.

"Good afternoon ma'am! I am Dr. Kunal Roy Chand, Aarav Roy Chand's father."

"Right! Hello Dr. Roy Chand. How may I help you?"

"My son Aarav, he's not home after school...can you please tell me if he's still in school." Kunal stated.

"I'm afraid he's not, Dr. Roy Chand."

"What do you mean?" Kunal was fuming, he didn't want to imagine what could've gone wrong.

"Yes sir, His mother picked him up early today." She spoke.

"What? Mother--"

"Mrs. Swarishka Kunal Roy Chand?"

Kunal paused after hearing her name. The last time he saw, Aarav hated Swarishka's company and today, she picked him up from school? This was something he wasn't able to digest. He wanted to know what went wrong or hopefully right that she had to pick him up from school.

"It's Dr. Swarishka Kunal Roy Chand." Kunal corrected the teacher as he knew Swarishka hated if anyone messed with her prefix. He's a doctor himself and he knows how much pride it takes to be called a Doctor.

"...and Sir, the authorities are extremely sorry for what happened today." The teacher apologized leaving Kunal distressed.

"Umm..." He was interrupted.

"We really apologize to you, your wife and Aarav. This was something we should have handled, yet we had to include the parents due to a lot of pressure from on of his peer's parent."

The teacher apologized so many times that Kunal was now getting tensed. He was sure that something huge happened that Swarishka had to pick the little boy from school.

He didn't want to sound dumb in front of the teacher so he pretended to know the whole situation.

"Y-Yeah! I mean this shouldn't have happened but --" He was stopped mid way again.

"That means you will not switch Aarav Roy Chand's school? We are very much thankful to you and your wife for being so humble  and grounded. Aarav is such a great student we'll make sure no one irritates him for any nonsense reason." The teacher blabbered.
