Kunal saw Swara sitting under the shower hugging her knees tight and shivering in cold. He also noticed something very weird...she was continuously rubbing her hand and rubbing her hand against her clothes.

"Swara! What are you doing?" Kunal immediately turned the shower off and squatted in front of her holding her by the shoulders.

The moment Swara raised her head he noticed how swollen her eyes were. He couldn't make out if that was because of tiredness or if she bowled her eyes out.

"Hey! Are you alright?" Kunal's tone was soft.

Kunal had always been a person people could rely on. It was just that Swara never came across someone as good as him. But with Kunal she always found herself different. She always found herself leaning on to him for small things that she once managed on her own.

"I'm Sorry! I'm Sorry! I'm Sorry!" Swara's quivering voice melted Kunal's heart. It was as if Swara was trying to hide the fact that how badly she wanted to cry right now.

Yes he didn't know her that well and Yes, he didn't have to know every bit of her life but since their lives were now connected, it would be foolish of him to just let her be.

If not for the sake of their marriage, then at least for humanity sake he should be there for her when she needs him and even after all the differences and lack of communication Kunal understood her emotions.

"Hey Hey! Shh! It's alright!" He immediately took her into his embrace, irrespective of her being drenched in water.

"I am fine!"

Swara's words were capable of bringing tears in Kunal's eyes. As soon as he heard those words his grip on her tightened, making the distance between them even shorter. He knew she wasn't fine and now he definitely knew she had a habit of preventing her tears from flowing.

She tightly held on to his neck, burring her face into his chest. She didn't want to accept how comforting it was but she just stayed there for as long as she could remember.

Surprisingly, his arms were much safer than the comforters in which she usually suppressed  her emotions.

Kunal realized she was shivering. Without any further questions he lifted her up bridal style and proceeded towards the closet.

Swara seemed lifeless she was not reacting at all.

He made her sit on the slab and immediately put a towel around her.

A broken Swara lifted her eyelids looking at this generous behavior by Kunal. He abruptly halted when he caught her staring at him, yet she did not flinch. She kept looking as if searching for an answer.

Kunal noticed how red her cheeks were getting, he wondered why she looked flustered.

"You should never receive your husband's love..." The words echoed in her head.
