Hardik Singhania! Swara's friend and Vansh's cousin brother.

Hardik's parents died at a very young age and since then he's been living with Vansh's parents. They have always treated him as their own son....and he was blessed enough to get another family.

Vansh's death had indeed been traumatic for everyone, especially when Vansh was never his cousin but more like his own brother.

He had gone abroad to study criminology, as he was determined to be a detective. Well! His determination did lead him to his dreams.

Hardik met Swara through Vansh, when Swara was just a friend. Eventually as Vansh and Swara began dating and decided on to get married, Hardik and Swara's relation had changed too. They had become best of friends but that changed  again once, Vansh became her boyfriend.

Swara seemed to forget her best friend as spending time with Vansh had become more important for her...he thought complaining to her would make him sound jealous for no reason but he definitely was upset as Swara was his only friend.

But he again felt interrupting her happiness would be mean, he decided to pursue his career and went abroad for his education without properly informing Swara.

He had broken all contacts with Swara...even though he sometimes stayed in contact with Vansh. Hardik was a very emotional person and Swara had become a person he got emotionally attached to.

He always feared loosing people and that made him a person who stopped opening up to the world.

When Swara and Vansh began dating no one could be as happy as him but he had no idea that her ignoring him unknowingly would stab him in the heart.

Sometimes, just sometimes it's not about love but friendship. That day Swara lost a good friend. He wanted to be by her side but she was the one who unknowingly pushed him away.

Never let the real friends leave. It's your loss.

Seeing Hardik stand in front of her... made her extremely happy. She was on cloud nine. Hardik was a friend she always missed.

And once again....years of trying to emotionally detach from her had gone in vain because her presence was enough to make him feel complete, to make him feel happy.

"how have you been?" She asked while trying not to sob.

"Swara? Let's first get out of here, I don't want chachi ma to come in here and--"

"She still gets those fits?" Swara worriedly questioned.

Hardik went speechless. He knew she cared for his family but after everything that happened...no one would believe it.

"I'll drop you--" He noticed the sindoor and Mangal sutra on her and damn the Indian attire suited her so well.

Swara waved her hands in front of him.

"Hardy?" She brought him back to reality.

"Lets get out of here!" He intertwined his fingers with hers and dragged her out of the room.
