Swara wasn't sure if she was hurt, but what else did she expect? after all she was gone for four long years and if Kunal had moved on with Ritika, who she knew loved him... maybe that is what destiny had planned.

But Swara's consciousness played in It kept on reminding her that no matter how many ever years Swara was away from him she was still his wife, Legally.

The four years of separation had not resulted in a successful divorce between the couple and technically if Ritika was his wife it was illegal.

And as the law states the second marriage will be considered null and void if there hasn't been a divorce in the first marriage.

But Swara shoved away all the thoughts as she had come back to India only for her daughters.

She lay down the little girl on the bed as she was all tired from the long voyage.

Vanshi was laid down in the room beside Vini's. Without any further communication Swara entered one of the guest rooms... It would be easier for her to reach out to her daughters whenever they were in need.

Kunal entered her room in surprise " Our room is upstairs Swara."

His words almost startled her. Is here for real?? She thought.

"I would like a separate room Dr. Kunal. Might I remind you that I'm not your wife I'm here for the sake of my children."

"And besides I think you need your privacy" The tone in which she said those words sounded rude to him but he was sure it wasn't rude enough than how he had treated her.

As Kunal turn around to leave... Swara's words had him stopped on his way..." I didn't know you lived with Ritika over here. "

Kunal scoffed at her question that sounded more like an accusation.

"Yeah she visits me often and it's actually great to have someone's company here."

"I'm surprised, how you sent my son away to a boarding school but enjoy Ritika's company!"

Kunal walked over to her... placing his hands over her shoulders..." I know I've been the biggest idiot here, I know I have been the biggest villain in your life but trust me, Swara ... I want to make things right between us, I want to be with you, I want to be with our kids, I want us to be a happy family"

" Guys dinner is re--" Ritika halted realizing this wasn't the right time to enter the room. She hesitated.

Swara gave her an unappealing look and replied "Thanks! I'm not hungry"

Ritika pouted at this. "Don't say that.... I made it with so much of effort ... I was so excited to meet you after so many years..."

Funny how she was excited to meet her husband's ex. Scoffing to her reply Swara stated...." I'm sure your husband might be even more excited to have the dinner prepared by you."

"Oh you got to know?" she seemed a little displeased with Swara's reply.

"Chiku! that's mean of you... I told you... I wanted to be the one to tell her that we've got married..."

Swara's eye twitched, she wasn't sure if these words were comforting her or destroying her... anyway that was none of her business... Kunal was an individual and he had the rights to choose what he wanted to do with his life and if his choice was marrying Ritika then so be it... probably everyone thought she was dead...

But even then....how does legal separation matter? Their hearts are miles away.

"Swara? Given the circumstances I couldn't invite you to our wedding functions... but I'm sure if you would have been there for my wedding...it would have been the wedding of the century and that is why... I was so excited when Kunal told me that you are returning....The news of you being alive just filled our lives with happiness and prayers. I wanted to prepare the dinner for you and the kids all by myself and I ordered Hardik to be here for dinner as well."
