"Can I get you something to drink?" The waiter questioned her.

"No! I'm fine, thanks!" She replied with a hint of disappointment.

"I'm sorry girl! but I am super curious now!" A hippie looking girl approached Swati, while she was sitting in the bar all alone.

"Get moving pal! I'll talk to her." She ordered the waiter who had approached her.

"Ok Now, Talk?" She commanded Swati who was currently in the state of shock.

"Talk what?" Swati replied, confused.

"Oh god! It's been more than four months girl...you come to this bar like it is your daily ritual...you sit at the counter talk to no one, reject any boy approaching you and leave after midnight, Alone. I mean, are you here to celebrate your breakup or something? Or you just want a job here?" She questioned her.

Swati gasped like a kid caught stealing cookies.

It's been more than four months?; Swati wondered.

"No!" Swati responded making the girl's eyes go wide in confusion.

"So you are celebrating your breakup?" She questioned.

"No!" Yet again, Swati replied.

"Oh! So you want a job?" She questioned.

"Noo!" Swati responded.

"Make up your mind girl!" She held her forehead in confusion. "You know what? This is a bar! so you can't come here to just sit...We have parks for that...If you wanna come here then, you either work here...or maybe spend your money on some expensive drinks." She yelled at Swati but she seemed unbothered. It was as if Swati was lost in her own world.

Why am I here?; She wondered, not knowing the answer herself.

It would be weird if she told her she came to find a certain person, who apparently scooped her in his arms and walked her to the washroom and help her escape the humiliation. Will this even be believable? She's here for someone she doesn't even know...all she has is a weird looking locket.

"I want work here!" She blurted it out making the girl's eyes go wide in shock. She scanned her from top to bottom after which she leaned in closer.

"Listen girl! This is a damn bar...and you seem to come from a well-to-do family...take my advice and ask your daddy for the money you need, go home and learn to make tea instead of serving alcohol." She suggested.

"That's my call!" Swati gave a very sarcastic smile making the girl scoff.

"Man! you're feisty! But don't blame me after you realize what you are getting yourself into." She warned again.

"I won't complain!" Swati replied.

The girl stared at her for a while before smiling broadly and grabbing Swati's shoulder.

"Eva! Eva D'Costa" She introduced herself...

"Swatika Jaisingh! but call me Swati!"
