But In It."

"Di? Are you fine?"

Swati helps a stumbling Swara to sit down on a chair whereas Karan immediately rushes to get a glass of water. Raghav was long gone but his words were still piercing her heart, those memories were still giving her a heartache.

That day Swara learnt two things, One - Being stubborn is not always good. Two -  Over confidence takes you nowhere.

Swara immediately finished the glass of water Karan got for her in a gulp.

"Bhabz? are you not feeling well?" Karan worriedly questioned her.

Swara gave a very reassuring smile. "I'm fine Karan, you don't need to worry!"

Swati was called by Mala for some work and she left Swara in Karan's company.

"Bhabz? I know you are having a neck pain! Why didn't you tell me or Bhai?"

Karan's words had caught Swara off guard. She didn't realize how to answer it. Opening and closing her mouth like a fish, she lowered her head. Swara had realized that maybe she should have trusted her husband or Devar(Husband's brother) on this.

It was definitely hard for her to accept that she had got married and for small things like an ointment, ringing up her sister always was definitely not a wise choice.

She sighed before reaching her hand to Karan's face and giving out a smile. "I didn't want to trouble you Karan! or your Bhai for that matter.... But I also realized that this is what families are for!"

Karan smiled in response, he placed his hand into the pocket pulling out a tube "So, my dear Bhabhi! I need you to tell me if you have any problem, not that Swati! ...... You don't need to tell me but I know you love me more than Swati!" He handed over the ointment to her.

Swara giggled hard before pulling Karan's cheek. He sure was grown up but his heart was as lively as a kid's.

Her eyes suddenly fell upon the little boy sitting in one corner of the hall. His arms crossed over his chest, his face filled with emptiness. This broke Swara's heart. Karan still manages to be lively and filled with an energy that of a kid and Aarav? being a five year old kid, his emptiness makes him not enjoy the innocence of a child at all.

"I'll be back!" Swara excused herself, making her way towards Aarav. She was well aware that Aarav didn't take much liking to her but nothing will hurt if you try!

She understood it might be tough for that five year old to accept another woman as his mother. All she wanted to do was take his emptiness away and give him his innocence back.

"Aren't you playing with the other kids?" She tried to ask as politely as possible.

He huffed in annoyance and rolled his eyes before replying "Not your problem!"

Swara shook away the hurt she felt by those harsh words and sat beside him in an attempt to at least understand him a bit.

"Ughhh!" He stood up from his place to leave, when Swara stopped him.

"Where are you going?" She questioned.

"To play!" With this he had taken off to another corner of the hall, it was as if he wanted to go as far as possible from her.
