"A recipe has no soul. You as the cook must bring soul to the recipe."

Swara was now sure today would be her exit from this house.
"Of course Dadiiii!" A loud scream shocked everyone. Karan entered from behind Swara and happily took everyone's blessing before hugging Dadi like she was his long lost friend.
Swara sighed in relief. She definitely didn't want to admit the truth nor did she want to lie to her.
Swara felt a certain weight over her shoulders, quickly averting her gaze she saw Sheetal leaning in closer to her ear, "Please don't mess today's ceremony up! I don't care what you prepare just be sure it feels like you are a professional."
It felt as if more than Swara it was Sheetal's test. If Swara succeeded in today's exam, Sheetal would be applauded and if she failed, Sheetal would be cursed.
Swara almost bit her lip preventing the escape of her laughter. "When Avni got married into this house she had prepared typical Rajasthani dishes and that made her get easily accepted by Dadi!" Sheetal added in.
That was enough to turn Swara's face pale in color. Swara knew that Avni was a great person and if they ever met i.e. if she was still alive, they would have definitely become close friends.
No matter how good or how cultured she was, she would still be compared to Avni.
She sighed in agony.
"You didn't go to college Son?" Dadi Ma asked Karan who was still hugging her like she would vanish if he let go.
"My Dadi was coming! how could I leave? I am not Kunal Bhai! To leave and go." Karan's words had every one smiling except Avyaan. He was still staring at Swara and showering daggers through his look.
Dadima suddenly stopped smiling and stared at Swara, " You go and start the preparations."
Swara was almost choking. What would she cook? Maggi? How she wished that would be enough.
Swara entered the kitchen and she felt like every vessel and every masala in the kitchen was taunting her.
What do I do?? What am I suppose to cook?
"Bhabz??" Swara's thoughts were interrupted by Karan.
She turned around trying to look as calm and composed as possible.
Karan's smile was mischievous for some reason as he took out the air pods he was wearing and handed them over to Swara.
She took them but she didn't understand what was going on?
"Wear it Bhabz! Quick!"
"Umm..." By the time Swara was processing Karan took the air pods and made her wear it. She was confused to the core not knowing what was going on.
Suddenly after Karan was done he winked at Swara and showed her a thumbs up sign, mouthing All the Best. He placed his phone over the slab, high enough for no one to see it.
"Hello?" Came a voice from the other side of the phone.
"H-Hello?" Awkwardly Swara replied.
"Ok! Listen to me carefully. I have a few of the recipes in mind, after two minutes call Janki Didi from the kitchen door. She'll come ."
Swara was shocked hearing the voice.
