In a relationship, Love is not what makes it last. Imagine eating Biryani with only salt and no other spices.
As much as salt plays the major role in providing taste to any food, other spices are still required for getting a mouthwatering taste.
In that same way Love plays a major role but other factors like trust, compassion, adjustment, try, understanding are a few of the other factors that have role in providing a taste to the relationship.
Tonight was the beginning of the indulgence of these various factors in their lives.
Staring deep into one another eyes, provided a sense of relief to Swara. She felt safe knowing someone was their she could rely on.
Breaking off the awkwardness, she turned the other side ... away from looking at Kunal.
"You can get back to sleep Dr. Kunal! I'm fine!" She whispered.
"You are applying an ointment the second time but yes you are fine! you are sobbing and have been crying for a long time but yeah! you are definitely fine." Kunal stated that had her thinking, 'was he awake all this time?'
He suddenly grabbed Swara's arm and pulled her. As a result, Swara landed on his shoulders. Her head over his shoulders and his hands grabbing her arm.
If Swara was wide in shock, so was Kunal.
It was all a coincidence, That beautifully overlapped one another.
Swara's mind was blank. It was as if she no longer had control over her emotions.
That accidental moment somehow gave her a sense of security, as if in this lonely world she finally got someone to rely on.
She bursted into soft sobs, this had a shocked Kunal snap out of his thoughts. He had assumed scenarios where she stood up and walked away, slapped him hard, or immediately moved away from him or maybe anything that would have increased the awkwardness than it already is.
To his surprise this very scenario of her crying over his shoulders was something he never thought would happen.
"Why are you crying? What's the matter?"
She was crying for a very long time....and seeing Kunal just made her burst into more tears.
"Chiku? I-" She burst out crying even more.
"Avni! Please tell me are you fine?" She pulled him closer and put her head on his shoulder.
"Can we stay like this for a while Chiku?"
She sobbed...and Kunal felt sad for her but content at the same time. He was happy she knew she could rely on him and that made him feel special.
Kunal's eyes were moist recalling this memory. It had been a lot of time since someone other than Aarav showed, he was still a person people could rely on.
Loosing Avni had made him loose a large chunk of self-confidence but, Swara right now unknowingly was doing a great job on rebuilding his shattered confidence.
