"But, but it was." Sylvia said to herself on the verge of tears.

While picking up the picnic spread she thought to herself ,'It was a special picnic for us, why do you think I made the first meal you ever made for me, and I told you about the sunset, even the candles, how couldn't you realize it was special, and why were you so angry, I understand if you weren't feeling well, but you could've atleast watched the sunset with me.' Wiping her tears from her face 'But maybe it was my fault, maybe I was too pushy, we are only friends, and he did lets me sleep on his lap without moving earlier, I guess to him it felt like I was just pushing to relive the moment I wanted to have with my friends with him, maybe to him it was like he was a substitute and not the one I wanted to do this with. Maybe I was the wrong one'

She finished clearing up the picnic and put it in the trunk. When she hopped in the car she was gonna say something to Ace, but when she looked over to him, he was facing away from her curled up. So she just drove away thinking he was asleep because of how sick he felt. When they arrived at a red light she leaned over to the passenger side and patted his head and gave him a kiss on the side of his forehead, "I'm sorry for being pushy and making you angry Ace, I really am."

Ace rolled a little as though he was waking up so she quickly moved her hand quickly so she wouldn't wake him.

But he was already awake, he had been since they left the special picnic place, ' He had known just how special and beautiful that place and the sunset was, I mean that is the place he realized he loved Aurora right? He snapped at Sylvia because he promised himself he'd never set foot back there unless he was gonna do the thing, yet there he was, the same day Danica told him Aurora was never happy with him, and Aurora herself said he isn't her worries anymore, the he was insulted by the girl he loved and the girl that made that special to him, was the same day he went back there, the memories were just to painful, especially looking at the bench he sat on, the image played back in his memory. And as he was trying to run away from it Sylvia grabbed his hand and tried to keep him where his pain was. But that wasn't her fault, she didn't know about his past, about Aurora or that place, she just wanted to have some fun and share it with him, she even made it all special and elusive, you know, mysterious and fun even though I would've loved the picnic either way, plus I was supposed to make her happy going to the picnic, but instead I made her sad, I really am a terrible person aren't I. ' While lost in thought Sylvia pulled in the driveway, "Hey Ace, we're home."

He turned to her, yawned and began stretching as though he had now woken up, Oh, we're here already."

In a bleak tone she replied, "Yep." as she stepped out the car with a gloomy look on her face.

Ace wanted to apologize to her, but he didn't know what to say, 'how does he apologize for the way he acted and even if he did it wouldn't seem sincere, it would be as though he just apologized because he saw she was gloomy.' When he opened the passenger side door he kept his head hung looking at the floor even when he was opening the door to his apartment.

Sylvia saw him doing this and thought, 'He must be really sick, look, but why didn't he apologize, I mean I know I was pushy and he wasn't feeling well, but that doesn't excuse the way he acted, he pushed me and was really mean, why do I even love him, he's such a meanie.' She slammed her door and ran up the stairs to her apartment crying.

Ace saw her through his window and just pulled the curtains.

About two hours had passed and there was a knock at Sylvia's door, she didn't answer because she didn't want anyone to see her in the state she was in. She was crying into a pillow and gorging herself on chocolates and carrot cake Ace had made. The knocking intensified for a moment and then stopped.
