The next day at school Ace went up to Shane, "Hey Shane?"
"Huh Ace?"
"Your girlfriend has friends right, think you could introduce me to one?"
"Why, don't you have a lot of female friends already? Why do you need more?"
"Not like that, I'll take your advice and get a girlfriend."
"And again I say, don't you have a lot of female friends already?"
"Well yes, but I can't date my friends, cause like, that's weird. They're my friends, they're like one of you guys, it'll just feel weird."
"But shouldn't you be friends with a girl before you date her?"
"Well yes, but not your long term friends who you've known for years. I feel like within knowing a girl for a month at least you know whether you'd want to date them or not."
"I guess your right, but you and I both know my girlfriend doesn't fancy Wade and Rak."
"Ok, what does that have to do with me?"
"Well, she thinks you're just like them."
"But I'm not."
"I know that, but she doesn't. So she won't introduce you to her friends."
"Ok, cool."
Later that day while he was talking to Mira on the phone;
"What's up Ace?"
"Well, I mean the sky, a plane maybe, birds?"
"Funny."
"I know right, I'm hilarious."
"Yes yes, but what's up with you?"
"What do you mean?"
"You seem distracted."
"Oh, well Shane was just telling me that I should get a girlfriend, but I mean not only am I looks impaired, but like no one will ever like me, I don't know how to talk to girls."
"What's looks impaired?"
"It means I'm ugly."
"How does that translate to ugly?"
"Well, it's very simple actually. If you can't see well, you're visually impaired, if your ugly, you looks impaired."
"Ummm, the way your brain works always seems to amaze me somehow. But aside from that. I think I have an idea."
"An idea for what, you got a magic wand to wave and make me better looking?"
"Well, I got something better."
"What can be better than a wand that makes me better looking? You got some type of reality altering magic. Always knew you were a witch, that's how short people are, y'all 5'2" girls just weird, you're to close to hell, like I understand why children are that short, they're evil, but they out grow their connection to hell. But you girls you all refuse to grow because you're evil."
"Now you see, when you say things like that it makes me wanna not tell you."
"But you're my bestfriend, so you're obviously gonna tell me."
Mira sighed, "I hate when you're right."
Ace smiled, "Stop looking so depressed and tell me."
"Ok, well remember my friend Vishanna?"
"Vishanna as is two years older than me, totally smoking fox Vishanna?"
"No, Vishanna in Lower six with the car."
