As Ace and Sylvia was driving home Sylvia explained to Ace that a few years ago her grandmother died, so she had to stop studying, and then when she came back her grandmother was in debt trying to take care of the house where Ace used to stay. Sylvia also told Ace that he only recently came back to the house and that's how they met, she also told him what happened with her ex-boyfriend and how he helped her sue her ex and get his hotel. And that was who crashed into him and that's why he was in a coma. Sylvia left out the details about how she turned it into a successful chain of hotels and that she owns two dealerships or the thing about the hospital because she wanted to surprise him since she gave him fifty-fifty ownership in everything. Also she knew he seemed to have an inferiority complex so if she did that she might scare him off. She told him little memories of the little time they spent together.

"Ok, well we're here Ace." Sylvia said as she pulled into the driveway.

"Hmmm, it's just the way I remember it. You didn't change anything?"

"Well granny always liked it the way it was, so I decided to leave it the way it was."

"I see, she really was always precise with the way she liked things."

"Yep, that she was."

Ace saw something covered with a tarp next to his apartment, "What's that?"

"Oh, that's your car Ace." Sylvia remarked as she pulled the tarp revealing Ace's crashed car, "I didn't get it fixed though, you said you loved it and you built it from the ground up, so I thought when you were better you'd want to fix it up."

Ace put his hand on the frame of the car, "It really is beautiful, just the way I always imagined it, I guess I really found the money to finally build it." Ace sighed, "But finding the money to fix it will be a pain, the parts alone is beyond me. I think my baby will have to stay like this a while longe-." Ace held his head and dropped to the ground in pain.

Sylvia dropped the tarp and ran to him, "What's wrong Ace?"

"My head, my head feels like it's gonna explode."

Sylvia helped him up and into his apartment, "Why don't you lay down and take a rest Ace, I'll cook lunch."

Sylvia sat him down on the couch and ran to the kitchen to cook. Ace lay down on the couch and put on the television as background noise as he looked up at the ceiling thinking, 'What happened while I was unconscious, I could've sworn I wasn't out for more than a few seconds, and at the same time it feels like I've spent a life time unconscious.' Ace raised his right hand and reached out to the ceiling as he looked at the back of his hand, 'Why do I remember the name Umi? Why do I feel like I haven't only forgotten the last couple of years after I was eighteen?' Ace dropped his hand and wiped his face, 'What is it I don't want to remember, I mean I miraculously woke up with no problems, the least I could do is remember right?'

Time flew by while Ace was lost in thought, Sylvia came in with two plates, "Lunch is done Ace."

Ace sat up, "Oh, what smells so wonderful?"

"Thanks Ace, from an amazing chef like you, telling me this little Shepherd's pie smells wonderful. I'm honored."

"Me an amazing chef, you must be mistaken, I'm not that great."

"I guess you weren't that great when you were eighteen, but Ace, you were an amazing cook when I met you."

"And how would you know that?"

While they were eating Sylvia told him about how he would cook for her since she wasn't good at cooking. And about all there fun they had together.
