I had not expected last night to go the way it had. I wanted to respect Sienna in every way possible so I was not going to push for more in the relationship until she was surely ready. Now, I'm not complaining about it either, nor would anybody else in my position, because it was amazing. The way our bodies worked with each other was pure heaven. Almost as if she was made for me in every sense of the word.
So waking up the next morning with a huge grin on my face was definitely something that I could get used to, that and also having a very bare Sienna cuddled up next to me. Both could happen every morning for the rest f my life and I wouldn't mind it. I'd gladly take it and have a smile each time. My mind wandered to last night before we fell asleep, I had traced the tattoos around her ribs and on her back as she drifted off to sleep. I had seen them in parts but never fully. They made me love her even more, knowing that she had a reason for getting them at the time. I knew she had been self-conscious afterward, as she had tried to cover up in the places where tiny white stretch marks covered. Before she could get too far with it, I had shown her just how much they didn't matter to me.
Pulling myself away from the memories, I looked at the clock on my bedside table, noticing the hour, and decided to go ahead and get up. Eleanor would be up soon anyway and I know she likes rushing into my- our room now- whenever she's over to wake both of us up. Slipping on some pajama bottoms and a shirt, I quietly made my way to Eleanor's room to see how she was doing. To my surprise, she was already awake and playing with her toys.
"Daddy!" She squealed when she saw I was up. Rushing over to me, I picked her up and set her on my hip. Even for a five-year-old, she wasn't very tall nor heavy for the matter. Placing a kiss on her cheek, I asked her if she'd like to help me make breakfast. She nodded her head, dark strands of hair flew in every direction around her face as they had fallen from the braids that Erin had put in her hair yesterday after she woke up from her nap.
Placing her on the counter a little ways down from the stove I told her to stay still while I grabbed what I would need. I knew Sienna was not a pancake person, she was more of a bacon-and-eggs type of woman. I loved that because I had to be in the mood to want pancakes.
Eleanor held the tongs that I took out of the drawer and waited patiently on me to grab all of the stuff out of the fridge that we would need. When I got the bacon going in the skillet, I took Eleanor off the counter and sat her back on my hip so that way the grease wouldn't hit her. She laid her head against me as she told me about her morning with my parents yesterday.
"Grammy played with Lou all the time and Pappy pushed me on the swings and went down the slide with me."
"Did you have fun with them?" I asked, using the tongs to flip the pieces. Eleanor nodded her head. "Yes, but I wish Lou was bigger so we could play together." She pouted her lips and I had to smile at her. Damn, did she look just like her mother when she did that?
"Give him a few years and then he'll be following right behind you, wanting to watch everything you're doing." My heart picked up a bit as I remembered last night, knowing that I wanted to have children with Sienna; and give El a sibling or two when that time came.
When I got done with the food, I made three plates and got us something to drink before noticing I was being watched. Sienna sat at the counter with a sparkle in her eyes as she watched the scene in front of her. I hadn't even heard her coming downstairs or even moving the stool to sit on it.
