Sienna
The night wound down to us coming back to Ryan and I's house, knowing that we didn't want to stay out too late, or even drink that much. Wanting to be fresh-faced and not hungover tomorrow. It would probably be much more than the guys could say.
Much to my surprise, all of us girls had found the pole dancing class to be quite fun. I had opted to stick to regular heels, knowing that a broken or sprained ankle would not be the best right at this moment. I could only imagine trying to call Ryan and tell him that we had to make an ER trip. Not to mention a cast and crutches wouldn't look very good with the wedding dress I had picked out.
Waking up the next morning, I had a bit of the nerves setting in. I hadn't had any last night, I was excited but it seemed that since it was finally the day of, I was jittery.
Sitting up in bed, I took notice of the bottle of water and Advil that was sitting on the stand. I remembered that Erin had thought to buy enough for all of us to have when we woke up. Just in case we all had gotten too much to drink. She was a God send with things like this. Reaching over, I grabbed the bottle and took a sip as I unlocked my phone.
Ryan and my mom had both messaged me. Mom had said she would be around the house at ten, I sent her a quick message back and then switched over to Ryan's adorable message with a photo. He was in bed with a pouty face, saying that he hated waking up alone.
Seeing his face had the butterflies stirring up again.
Attaching a photo of the space where he usually sleeps, I sent it to him with a message of my own.
'Not even the animals wanted to sleep with me.'
Without waiting for his reply, because I knew if I did then I would be sitting in bed all morning texting him and we couldn't have that, I climbed out of bed and headed to the bathroom. Stripping off my pajamas, I got in the shower. Going through the motions of shampooing and conditioning my hair, and shaving every part that needed it. Even though I had already done that yesterday morning.
Seems like it was a way to calm the nerves. I didn't even understand the nerves, I had grown so comfortable with Ryan. I even believed we had a stronger connection than Ashton and I had. As crazy as that sounds.
"Hey, Sienna. Eleanor is here." Sophia called, opening the bathroom door. I peeked my head out from the curtain after turning the water off. "Okay, I'll be out in just a second. Is my mom here yet?" I asked, grabbing the towel that was hanging on the rack and wrapping it around my body.
"No, but you're phone was going off so I'd say she will be in the next couple of minutes."
True to that statement, she had arrived not even five minutes after I had walked downstairs.
My mom's presence seemed to balance out the crazy that was going on around us. Two by two the girls were getting their hair and make-up done. As I was sitting in a chair watching everything in front of me. I had opted to be the last one done so that way everyone could get ready in no rush. I wasn't doing much of makeup, and I wanted to spoil the best friends in the world.
By three we were all done with getting ready and about to do photos. Bubba had been nice enough to offer to do our wedding pictures, not even letting us pay for it. I had told Amada that we would make sure that once everything was over, he would be tagged and given every ounce of credit he deserved when we posted them, and even a big ass tip. Although, Ryan and I did agree that he definitely could post a sneak peek of the photos whenever he got them done.
When we finished with our photos, Amanda left with Bubba to do the guys' photos. I had taken the little bit of time we had before she was back and we had to get ready for the ceremony to start to go over my wedding vows. I had practiced them with Eleanor a few days ago and she loved them. Telling me that Daddy would too. I wasn't worried about forgetting any of the words because they all come from the heart, I was afraid that I would get choked up and not be able to finish. I seemed to always get caught on my words at the end.
"Mommy, can I have some juice?" Eleanor's bright and cheerful face asked as she ran into my bedroom. Bending down to be at eye level with her, I chose my words to her carefully. Even if she was getting naps at school for kindergarten, we were trying to encourage her to nap if she was tired and then set a time limit of twenty minutes if it was a late one.
"Honey, you've got your nice dress on. How about I get you some grape-flavored water? I'm sure we can even get a cookie." I knew the cookie throw-in would help to persuade her to drink water instead of the red Kool-Aid we made the other day. She seemed to think for just a second, I tried again.
"How about when you go with Grammie we'll tell her to make you some? I'm sure she would love a special helper to show her how to make it at home." That seemed to perk her up. She knew that my mom was taking her back home for a couple of days while Ryan and I took a small honeymoon.
"Okay, but I want two cookies then." She grinned with her big dimples showing causing my heart to flutter for a second. She didn't know how much she looked like Ashton right then. Big blue eyes and her dark curly hair all over. I didn't know if it was a sign from above but I knew in my heart that he was watching down on today with a smile.
Ryan
Since Bubba had come back from doing the photos of my soon-to-be wife and bridesmaids, he had given me that crooked smile and would make comments about how I was going to be a weeping mess. I rolled my eyes and slapped his shoulder. Even if he was right, I wasn't about to admit it. She had kept the dress a top secret from me, even if I had jokingly begged for a little peek at it.
Of course, I got a hard no each time, but I didn't care. I could wait until she was walking down the aisle to see the dress on her. Thinking of that had me feeling the jitters again. Our wedding planner, Annie, had been running back and forth between the barn and the house; that being after we all made it over from Bubba's house. I felt bad but she had told us that this was her job, and not to worry.
Didn't mean that I didn't.
Amanda was quick behind him in her emerald green dress, smiling from ear to ear. I knew everyone was sporting the same smile. From my family to Sienna's, our friends, and even Ashton's parents Lena and Jeff were happy for this day. I had been surprised that they both arrived because they had told us they might not be able to make it. I had seen them first and at that time they hadn't seen Sienna yet but were spending time with Eleanor.
"I'm gonna let Amanda do our photos now and then my friend Max, who also does photography, will do the rest," Bubba said, handing Amanda his camera.
"That's right, so keep those smiles on your face and it'll be over soon."

The second update is today. I don't think I can go 3 for 3 as Lies doesn't have much started on it and I need to do a bit of re-reading on it to figure out where to go with the new chapter for it. The next chapter for this will most definitely be the wedding. Been trying to find the right pictures to help show the chapter.
