chapter 32

"no chris you don't put it that way ." tom said as he pulled the piece of domino out of chris's hand , who was sitting in the couch of loki's office along side tom and loki sat on the chair opposite to the couch deep in his thoughts , "come on man let me ." chris gave his puppy face to tom making him roll his eyes , "seriously?" tom asked making an amused face and chris just nodded, tom looked at the piece and then back at chris who was sprinkling pleading waves towards him and at last tom sighed before passing the piece back to him , as chris got his piece of domino he got back to his work while tom turned towards loki while shaking his head , his eyebrow lifted up when he saw loki zoned out, his face was extremely focused and only a professional look could be seen on his face although tom knew he could be thinking above something related to his brown sugar . "you are okay bro?" tom asked loki while looking direct at him as his voice made loki snap out of his trance , "umm yeah?." he answered a bit of a question , tom raised his eyebrow giving him a silent remark to speak, "tell us what it is now ." tom demanded his voice was silent but enough to make him know that he wouldn't buy any shit , the tone made even chris look at them . "okay fine ." loki sighed closing his eyes and rubbing his face , "actually I think brown sugar is a little ." loki stated looking at the paper weight on the table infront of him , both tom and chris exchanged a look before bursting out laughing making loki irritated, "brown sugar ?, you don't mean kalila right ?" tom asked still laughing while loki just rolled his eyes , "and who else do I call with that name ofcourse I am talking about her ." loki's dead serious tone made both chris and tom stop as they looked serious now too, "kalila as in the kalila we know ?" Chris tried to confirm making loki nod , "okay that can't be true , she is totally opposite of that you know that too well." chris said before tom could put in a word , chris quick reply made tom raise an eyebrow at that guy , "I know she never showed that thing but yesterday we had a little argument over the fight she had in uni so she ended up behaving really weird as in I have never seen kalila getting so child like ." loki declared making the guys think , "okay I understand she could be submissive but being a little ,I highly doubt that ." tom answered making loki sigh out of frustration, "that's the thing she never behaved so much of a little like before , she started to cry in just a second and I really was stunned by the way she got so quick change in behaviour exactly like a kid would ." loki answered while both tom and chris got lost in thoughts , "why don't you ask her directly ?" chris suggested making both the guys look at him , "not so easy man , she would die but not accept that ." tom said clearly aware of how much pride kalila had , "I know dude but that's the only way out cause see even if she is a little , you can't get into that relationship without her agreeing ." Chris stated the fact making both the guys go stun at the sudden burst of intelligence from chris , "damn you use your brain ." tom asked him with a mocking smile making him roll his eyes while loki just chuckled , "good idea let me give her a call first. " loki said and reached out for his phone and just at that moment the screen flashed with kalila's name on it , both the guys smirked looking at loki who just rolled his eyes and picked the call up although he couldn't stop the smile that formed on his lips as he connected the phone to his ears , "hello ?" he asked only to hear a loud chirp , "hey loki , do you mind having indian today?" kalila said through the phone her voice was booming making loki chuckle , "I almost have a certain Indian dish everyday ." he teased knowing well that kalila would be all red by his comment, "and why am I not aware of that ?" she played innocent although loki could hear the smirk in her voice , "cause .." loki trailed of as he heard snickering from the guys side , "indian works for me until you are planning on making it. " he added clearly knowing that kalila would obviously get herself a cut or something if she tries cooking. "nah umm i will ask liza ." she answered a bit unsure making loki raise an eyebrow , "okay that works , what were you doing?" he asked her as he heard a sigh from her , "watching some old pictures of mine that i just received from my parents ." she stated and sighed making loki smirk , "send them to me." loki commanded with a big smile , "no why would i do that ?, i am just gonna delete them all right away ." kalila answered making loki roll his eyes, "you really like testing my patience don't you brown sugar?" loki warned hearing a huff coming from the other side of the phone , he smiled to himself knowing exactly what she had in her mind , "you remember i am more of a dictator than a follower?" kalila asked him back , he was quite amused by her back talk , it was a common thing but from a few days she had been more obedient so it made him quite a little raged but he couldn't deny that he liked when she tried being stubborn, which she was most the times. "aren't you forgetting something brownies?" loki's voice raised a little and there was silence on both the ends for a while , "i am sorry i had already deleted the picture, see you when you get home bye " kalila sang the last part as she hanged up on loki leaving him speechless , "what happened bro?" chris asked as he saw the raging expression on loki's face , "this girl is getting out of hand ." loki sighed as he placed his phone back in his pocket and leaned back , "when was she even in hand ?" tom mocked knowing really well that kalila was not a listener at all costs, this made loki even more pissed . "she was and she will be again, i am going home ." loki announced as he got up from his chair , both the guys were quick to follow his pursuit. "loki calm down you can't just let your anger destroy any sweet moments between you guys , it was hard to get this all settled ." chris tried to fill sense to make loki stop as he just started to walk to the elevator, "doesn't means i will enjoy the way she disrespects me ." loki gritted out while he stood which his back leaning against the elevator wall , "see loki , she has been brought up with a lot of care and if you trying to make her obey with hurting ways that would only make her more and more distant and you know her better than us by now so i hope what i mean." tom stated in a slow voice to make loki understand and that worked as loki just thought of how wrong he was to be so raged over a small thing , he could clearly make her agree with a rather sweet way . "okay fine i understand, i won't do something stupid but i will surely give her a good thing to remember to obey me from the next times ." loki added with a smirk making both his friends chuckle , "that's like our brother. " chris said as he patted loki's back who just smiled , "want to join hs for Indian today ?" loki stated and both the guts exchanged a glance before nodding their heads.

kalila was in the kitchen ready to start with the dough making when she heard footsteps coming towards the kitchen , she quickly recognized them and advantage of being brought up by a brown family . she quickly patted her dress and started to wash her hands , "i missed you brownie ." kalila heard loki's gruffy voice as he placed his head on her shoulder and kissed her cheek softly and warpped his arms around her waist , "how was your day ?" kalila asked back as she turned around in his arms and cupped his face in her hand , "stressing and tiring but thinking about you lightened my mood." he answered as he leaned down and kissed her softly , "let me check if i just lightened your mood ." kalila trailed off as one of her hands traveled down loki's body and she plamed him from above his pants making loki jump slightly as he felt himself harden instantly at the little teasing , she quickly pulled her hand away smirking. "i guess you were right. " she quickly trailed away from loki , to grab a glass of water for him instead she ran away because she knew that it won't take time for loki to just grab her then and there and fuck the life out of her . "here." she handed him the glass of water as she turned around to face him ,loki smiled at her before taking the glass of water and gulping it down . when he was done ,he put down the glass on the kitchen slab and pulled kalila towards him engulfing her into a hug , "loki?" kalila called as he kept a tight hold to her waist, "i missed you too. " she mumbled as she quickly hid her face in his chest and hugged him back , "hmm you did cook right?" he asked her while lightly tracing her face with his finger as he pulled away so that he could see her face , "ahm no ..i didn't. " kalila answered hesitantly as loki narrowed his eyes at her , "how innocent and naive love , you walk with flour on your face and say you didn't cook." loki stated amused as he softly patted her right cheek that had some flour on it , "arey i was just helping lisa with the dough, i didn't do anything else ." she quickly blurted out and earned a suspicious look from loki , she gave him a tight smile and kept the eye contact and soon loki just looked away . "Hmm then how was your day ?" loki asked her as they both darted out of the room , "good." kalila muttered while making her way to the living room, loki pulled her back suddenly making her back crash into loki's front as she stood a bit shocked . "what's wrong?" she asked him as she looked up at loki , "tom and chris are in there ." loki stated making kalila raise an eyebrow, "so can't i got in ?" she asked him back making him roll his eyes , "you are sure you wanna go infront of them like this ?" he challenged her as he looked her up and down , she was in one of his shirts which reached her mid thigh . kalila felt conscious of her outfit and face palmed giggling,  "thank you for reminding me , i will come after i get fresh." she stated out in a swift as she tiptoed and placed a kiss on loki's cheeks and then walked away before loki could even say anything or most like do. loki smiled to himself as his hands automatically went to his right cheek where a few moments before kalila had placed a soft peck . indeed she could turn his mood into a mess by just a single touch and now he remembered that he had to talk to her about how she behaved a while back on the call.
