3.The goddess part 2

It's been a few years since Tommy returned from war.He had got married to grace but he lost her too.Everyday was death for him.Ever since he came back he couldn't stop thinking about her.The whole Birmingham was praying to meet the goddess again.The woman who saved them.Even Polly wanted too.She beloved in god a lot.She too prayed to meet her.The story of her beauty and her power spread through Birmingham like wildfire.

He thought about her everyday.The way she smiled at him before disappearing,the way she spoke to them everything.Tommy thought about it all.He wondered if she would come back and sometimes when he would be alone he would actually say"come back"to himself.

He lost her wife and was in the dark for a very long time.But he learned to jump from that hole.He knew he would never fall in love again.But a tiny voice used to remind him about the woman he saw.And his panic and worry used to go away when her face used to come in front of him.But with time he forced himself to forget about her.But he failed.With work it got less but it was still there.She was still there.

"Oh god help me but I want to meet her"Polly said lighting her cigarette
"If only we knew where she is?Or was?I don't know can half gods die?"john asked while looking at Tommy who was too busy drinking his whiskey on the bar counter.

They were currently in the garrison alone and were talking about her.
"Never in my life did I think gods and goddesses would come in the form of humans"Polly scoffed

"Ya I still didn't forget a single thing about that beauty"John smirked while putting a toothpick in his mouth
"No one did John"Arthur said drinking his whiskey

"Ever since we came back out tommy had been busy thinking about her.There hasn't been a place in Birmingham and London that he hasn't searched for her"John said looking over at his brother for any sign of emotion but as expected he got nothing

"That was the old me John.I've given up"Thomas said lighting his cigarette

"Thomas Shelby never gives up"arthur spat at him
"You still think about her it's on your face"arthur said scoffing and looking outside the window

Tommy closed his eyes to take his sentence in.Yes it was true he still thought about her.He wanted to know desperately who she was.

"She even bloody promised us that she would come to meet us and tell her life story to us.Where's that promise?"arthur scoffed again

"Must have forgot about it"John shrugged

"I never forgot a promise"a woman's voice came from behind.Their heads snapped towards where the voice came from.It was dark in the room but then a shadow of a woman could be seen and soon that woman came under the light to reveal the beauty herself.Her face glowed from the light and there was a smirk on her face.

"Nor do I break it"she completed

"Fucking hell it's her!!"arthur gasped and got up from his seat.

"Ya it's me arthur"she said smiling
"You remember us bloody hell"he said and shook her hand

"Of course i do arthur.John how are you?"she said walking over to him to shake his hand.The shocked John couldn't even let out a single word and she shook his hand

She turned towards the man she wanted to meet the most.
"Thomas Shelby"she smiled and walked over to him
"Pleasure to meet the blinder himself"y/n said as they shook hands

There she was.The girl he never stopped thinking about.She was right in front of him.Today was the day he was thinking and begging for.She's finally here.

"I'm Polly gray"Polly said walking over to her with shock plastered on her face

"It's nice to meet you miss gray"she shook her hands with a smile
"I can't believe it.You're finally here"she gasped
"The goddess herself is here"she said

"Half goddess"she corrected her
"Oh roight she did that to me too"arthur said from behind

Y/n let out a slight chuckle as Tommy walked over to her and gave her a glass of whiskey.She took it and gave him a smile.He asked her to sit down and she sat as the whole family was ready to listen to what she would say

"Okay so I am going to fulfil my promise"she paused and sighed
"I want you all to promise me in return that this is not going to go out of here"she said
"I am y/n l/n.The first born of queen hypolyta.I am an Amazonian.It's a tribe of savours and fighter women.I am the daughter of Zeus"she paused and finished her drink
They all were already extremely surprised
"Zues as in"Polly said
"Zues as in the god of gods,the saviour of earth,the god of thunder"y/n named his other names

"I was made out of clay and was brought to life by Zues.I know it's sounds weird but it's true.I defeated Aries a long time ago(let's assume she did it a few 50 years ago k)I left my homeland to come here.To put an end to war but it's not possible.I was so new to all of this that I was so stupid to think it all would stop but it wasn't possible.I've fought many battles for my home and people here.But it was never enough.No matter how much we fought it never came to an end.And now I am here and I can't go back to my home place.So I made it my mission to keep going and trying to help people and fight for those who cannot fight for themselves"she finished
"So that's my story"she said taking a deep breath and letting it out.

"Jesus"Polly looked away and took in a breath.
Y/n raised both her eyes brows and nodded in agreement.

They all asked her more about her battles and Tommy silently listened.He couldn't help but notice that she didn't change much.She was the same as she was the last time.But even more beautiful.

Y/n saw that he changed a lot.His hair were different,his attitude he completely changed.He was smoking a lot now like he was trying to bury something bad.

It was 12:00 at night now and they all were about to go home.

"So Ive come to Birmingham to stay here for a while.Got business and as usual my duty"she said while standing up

"It was amazing to meet you all today"she smiled

Polly stood up and walked outside with her.
"I am so grateful to meet you"Polly said smiling
"And now that you're here in Birmingham I want to meet you everyday"Polly said pointing at her
"Of course miss gray you are an amazing company"y/n smiled
Tommy walked outside to see the two ladies talking.He saw y/n smiling and laughing with Polly.He felt his world pausing for that moment.Like everything was just muffles.

Y/n felt his gaze and looked over at him.Her breath slightly hitched when she met his icy deep eyes.He was staring at her and she was too now.Her knees felt weak all of a sudden.Before she fully collapsed Polly called her name.She removed her eyes from his gaze and turned to her.

"So we'll meet tomorrow for tea?"she asked
"Of course"y/n smiled back
Polly walked away with John and Arthur and gave Tommy a small smile.

It was just y/n and him now.
"You've changed"y/n said blinking lazily
"Ya and you haven't at all"he said lighting a cigarette
"I'm immortal it's impossible for me to change so much"she smiled
Tommy made an amused face and nodded.
"I'll meet you tomorrow for tea"y/n smiled at him.For a second Tommy felt like his life was complete and happy.
"See you then"he smiled back
For the first time he felt happiness.Something to look forward too.And it was her.She was the thing he was looking forward too.She gave him a nod and walked away into the foggy night.

Tommy didn't realise that a small smile crept up to his face.He closed his eyes and let out a smoke of his cigarette.He leaned his head back and took a deep breath.
"Fucking hell"he smiled
