Y/n and John were close friends.He loved to introduce her to his family and show off how good a friend he has.

Y/n certainly did grab Tommy's attention when he first met her.Just her saying his name made something turn.

Y/n was on her way to Birmingham to meet her good friend and his family again.She got late to reach there and it was almost nigh time now.

When y/n entered the town,commotion and chaos was happening everywhere.There was fire burning and smoke rising up from it to the sky.Children running back to there homes and people shutting there doors.

Y/n immediately knew something bad was happening.She raced her footsteps a little over to the Shelby house to see John.

In another two or three minutes of walking hastily she reached there.She knocked on the door,well she pounded loudly on it.

She heard the door lock click and the door opened revealing a gun being pointed towards her.Her breath hitched in shock but she saw johns sister ada standing there

"Bloody hell it's just you y/n"ada sighed in relief and pulled in inside locking the door behind.

"What's happening over here?"she asked,voice sounding worried and slightly panicked

"We're under attack.Sabini sent a big troop of fucked up men to kill the peaky blinders.Apparently our brothers might've pulled his nerves and that's why he's come here"she said helping y/n take off her coat.She was about to open her mouth to say something when a child's whimpers were heard by her

She saw a young boy run up to them rubbing his wet eyes in discomfort.

"I'm scared aunt ada"the little boy mumbled.Ada picked him up with a sad face feeling pity for the boy and rocked him slightly in her arms

"This is Charlie.He's Tommy's son"ada introduced him.Y/n felt a slight change in emotion when she referred that he was Tommy's son but she shrugged it off

"Where's his mother?"she asked walking closer to ada softly stroking the boys hair

"Died during birth"ada rocked him in her arms.That's when they heard loud gunshots right outside the house.Y/n didn't flinch but instead she immediately held Ada's hand and pulled her away

"Whoever is behind you all is right at your doorstep ada"she firmly said.

"It's okay I have a revolver"ada tried to stop her from pulling her,god knows where

"A revolver is not going to freaking work considering the amount of noises I'm hearing outside"she hissed.

Y/n pulled ada to the nearest room she saw which was apparently a bedroom.

"Stay here ada and keep Charlie close to you"she softly pushed her inside the room.

"But wait where-"she didn't let Ada finish and closed the room door locking them inside with a key that was kept right beside the room on a table.

"Stay here ada"she leaned closer to the door and kept her hand on it.Y/n knew hand to hand combat and she had an unbelievably good aim.

Luckily she carried guns along with her for her safety,considering which town she was in right now.

She heard a loud bang on the door,like someone was breaking in.She cracked her knuckles and neck and got ready.

She backed away from the door a little,checked ammo in her gun,cocked it once and then aimed it at the door

She heard the person in front back away from the door a little and she immediately knew he was going to slam in.The footsteps got closer and louder and with a loud crash the door opened wide
