183.Interrupted meeting

"Gentlemen"

"Today is a very important day.Today is black star day.We take down billy kimber today at the garrison pub.Johnny and Isiah,you're going to be in the back.Wait for my signal and then come out.Me,Arthur and John are going to go and meet him like we're having a meeting with him"tommy explained to everyone

"When I say "pleasure doing business with you" you all will come out and point at my command.Understood?"

"Yes tommy!"they all replied one by one.Tommy sighed heavily and nodded.

He picked up his revolver and kept it in his coats pockets and looked up back at the men

"Let's go"

Tommy approached the building casually.Arthur was along with him and so was John.He looked calm and pale as ever,smoking his cigarette without showing even an inch of emotion on his face

They opened the doors to the pub and saw kimber already sitting down on the table with his assistant,eyes staring forward right at them

"Evening Mr Shelby,I was waiting"kimber stood up from his seat.Tommy nodded flicking away his cigarette and walked over to him

"Evening Mr kimber"he sat down without shaking his hands.Kimber stood dumbfounded and also in anger but shrugged it off and sat down

"Let's get to business shall we?"tommy took out a document listing the terms and conditions and other stuff about the company.

"I wiped away all the dirt from the race track grounds you wanted,if you know what I mean"kimber smirked

"That good to hear"Tommy cleared his throat and brought in front of him a few more documents to keep kimber busy while his men all take positions

After a few more minutes of them signing documents of each other's deals,they were finally ready

"Mr Shelby I hope you're not doing any shady business behind my back.You know that they say that devils always have tricks up there sleeves"tommy huffed out a breath and looked at Arthur

"All the business that I do,is shady Mr kimber.But don't worry,I don't have any 'tricks' up my sleeves Mr kimber"tommy stood up from his seat and Arthur and John nodded at other directions

"Pleasure d-

The doors opened wide to the pub and all the men inside snapped there heads at the direction.Tommy immediately shook his head at his men at the sudden interruption.

Tommy snapped his head at the direction and saw a woman walk inside the pub.

"Mr kimber I'm afraid I have to interrupt"she walked inside boldly.Grace and elegance locked with stubbornness and fire on her face.A tall woman in a suit walked inside the pub.

Tommy stared at her and then at Arthur who was giving him confused looks

"It's been days since you've been delaying the two million pounds I lent you Mr kimber"y/n stood in front of him.Kimber looked around in embarrassment and Tommy stared at him in disbelief

"When do you plan on returning it Mr kimber?"

"I've been busy doing a deal with the Shelby's Miss l/n-

"Mr kimber I sent my assistants at your office five times,and since your men dismissed them those five times,I've come here to take it by myself"y/n put her hands in her pockets

"It'll be at your table Miss l/n by tomorrow.Can you not interrupt my meeting right now?A person like you shouldn't have that kind of nerve to talk to me like that"

"I'm a woman Mr kimber"y/n immediately replied with coyness and slightest anger in her voice

"Women have the nerve to speak to even the devil if that's what it takes"

Tommy stood upright and stared at her up and down.There was no doubt she was confident as fuck.And her looks were rather deceiving

"Kindly don't cross the deadline Mr kimber please continue with your meeting"y/n turned her eyes to Tommy,the man she was trying her best not to push her eyes on again and again

"Evening"she nodded and left the pub like a swoosh of wind leaving kimber standing there burning with anger and embarrassment

"These women.Dear god where is death when you need it?"

Tommy signaled Arthur who nodded at his men standing in the back.Kimber heard the sound of a gun cocking behind his head.

He went still with disbelief

"Death was right here beside you the whole time Mr kimber"tommy said holding a gun right behind his head

"Pleasure doing business with you"he said and shot the gun

Blood splattered on his face as he closed his eyes and then opened them again to see kimbers limp body now on the ground with blood flowing from the bullet hole.

Tommy and his men walked out and rang there shots at kimbers men.Tommy walked out of the pub leaving them inside and stared out at the dark blank street.

Who even was that woman?

He looked down on the ground and saw a white card that had been talked from her pocket.It was her business card.

"L/n diamonds and mills"Tommy read from the paper.Of course he thought she was familiar and so was her surname when kimber said it

Tommy looked at the edge of the card and saw her telephone number written on it.Tommy didn't realise that he had already put that card in coat pocket

"You have her number there tom?"arthurs gruff voice spoke from behind as he walked out of the pub with blood on his hands

"I do arthur"tommy looked forward at the empty street imagining the mysterious woman standing there

"For business purposes"
