"But I will sing of Your power;

Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;

For You have been my defense

And refuge in the day of my trouble."

-Psalm 59:16

May God bless you and may He be with you all! Jesus loves you all infinitely! God is Good!

When we landed in Campinas, I felt lighter, tenser, but lighter. In a sense of I'd finally be greeted with the air of my home country, and see my mother and my sister again. Maybe this year Andrew and our mother would actually not butt heads.

Maybe.

But as soon as we came within a ten feet radius of our family, Andrew immediately fixed back into some sort of attitude. The one where he was unreachable in a sense of conversation and affection.

We met in the parking lot of the airport, and I didn't even have time to enjoy the warm temperature of Campinas before my sister tackled me to the ground with a hug.

"Ana!" She squealed while she tackled me, and I fell straight on the ground, wanting to hurry along so that no papparazzi would recognize me or Andrew. Who was standing afar off with sunglasses and a wig on to conceal his identity. I giggled as I stood to my feet while still embracing my sister.

"I missed you so much Kat."

"I missed you and- hi Andrew." her voice was a confused one. I saw my brother approach us without talking, passing right by Katilina and headin straight for her car.

"What's wrong with him? He's never acted that way towards me." She asked me, looking back, and we followed after him..

"Don't know. He's been in this 'mood' since we left or whatever." I smiled to reassure her that it was normal of him, which it was, but not as often. "Where's mama?" I asked her as we walked to the car, feeling fresher and much better.

Kat stopped in her tracks, observing me a little bit before following me again.

"Mama is at the house..." she trailed off, and I paused for a second, as I reached the black car, opening the car door. "She didn't feel well enough to come out."

Then I heard Andrew snort at her add on.

"Typical." Then he shut his door, and my eyebrows rose at his little remark.

"Which house?" I inquired, since we moved, we've kept the house in our ownership somehow, and we had a vacation home with the support that our pai provided us for.

"904." Kat answered me, climbing into the driver's seat. So that meant it was our childhood home, and Andrew put on his Beats, leaning on the car door and blasting his music, ignoring us. The heat always made him tired and irritable but it was just about 80 degrees. Kat started to the car, turning on the radio, and I immediately started to dance.

I missed this so much.

"Somebody's excited!" Kat cheered, trying to mask the tension in the car as we drove. My sister was never the best driver, and neither was I, or Andrew...of our mama...then I noticed that I came from a long line of bad drivers, which made me laugh.

"I'm excited! I'm the most excited I've been since-since-"

"Neymar kissed you?" Andrew interrupted sarcastically, and I side eyed him. "Honestly Ana, you're getting excited over a trip to a place you've been a million times and you lived here for most of your life," he added on while staring out of the window, "calm down."
