It took us a few minutes to east the awkwardness that father caused about mentioning the whole grandchildren thing. He just had to mention that.

"Okay then, it's time to be serious." father spoke up.

"It just had to come from you." Jimin scoffed.

"I'm just lightening up the mood," he shrugged. "Medyo nag-alala lang ako nung nakita kong ganyan ang itsura ni Eli." he said.

"Madalas pong mangyari 'yon sir, na-overwhelm lang po talaga ako." Eli sighed.

"Ano nga ulit yung sinasabi mo, Pa?" Namoon asked.

"There are reports all over the city about numerous attacks and deaths. Ang sabi sa balita mga hindi daw kilalang gang member lang ang may gawa, pero sigurado ako na grupo iyon ng mga bampira." he begun.

"Grupo ng mga bampira? As far as I know, aren't most vampires in this area like us? Kaya nilang kontrolin ang pagpapalit anyo, tulad ng mga kaklase natin at iba pa nilang kamag-anak" Jin asked.

"Alam kong imposibleng taga-ditong distrito sila. I am acquainted with almost every vampire that is the head of the family and no one has ever showed any intention of doing such things." father explained.

"I had the deaths investigated. At lahat halos ay namatay dahil sa sakal at ang iba ay dahil sa bugbog. Hiniling ko rin sa isang kaibigan ko na nagkataong isang imbestigador na bigyan ako ng mga kopya ng mga sample ng dugo o anumang mga palatandaan ng mga fingerprint ng mga salarin." he says seriously before he continued.

"They all belonged to different people yet at the same time there is one similarity that only a vampire can tell and not ordinary people." he added.

"And that is?" Suga asked.

"Na lahat ng sample ng dugo na nakuha nila ay may bakas ng bampira." father answered. "At ang bampirang iyon ay walang iba kundi si Lucian."

"Siya? Pero paano?" Jin asked.

"I have an idea but I need to make sure first," he stood up and went near Eli. "Alam kong medyo hindi tama pero kailangan ko ng sample ng dugo mula sa iyo."

Eli's eyes widened. "Po? Pero bakit?"

"Alam kong weird pero may kailangan lang akong kumpirmahin." father said.

Eli looked really uncomfortable for moment before slowly nodding. "Teka lang po, hindi iyon ganoon kadali." she mumbled.

Bahagya siyang yumuko hanggang sa natatakpan ng buhok niya ang kaniyang mukha. Ilang sandali lang ay tumingin ulit siya at nakita kong dumudugo ang kaniyang labi. Father handed her a handkerchief and she used it to wipe the blood off before giving it back to him again.

I looked towards Eli and she kept tapping her fingertips onto her lip. "Masakit ba?" I asked.

"Hindi masyado, it sting a little but it's something I'm used to." she answered.

"You're used to it?" I asked.

She smiled awkwardly. "Oo...medyo."

My brows scrunched up in confusion.

"Bakit naguguluhan ka pa? Alam mo naman kung bakit nakasanayan na niya ang ganyan." J-hope chuckled.

"Huh?" Ano bang sinasabi nila?
