Lost Legacy- Naruto Fanfic

Chapter 3

  Today was the graduation exam I was walking to the academy with Naruto after we had French toast for good luck. I'm freaking out right now about the test what if they ask me to do clones and I lose my concentration and I fail to do clones. Who am I kidding they wouldn't ask me to do, right? RIGHT!?

I was muttering words under my breath while fidgeting with the end of dress. "Don't worry Kaiya-chan we'll both pass!" Naruto brought his face close to mine and grinned seeing that I was worried about the test. Feeling more confident I smiled back at him, "You're right, you're going to be Hokage and I'll be right by your side."

Walking in where we suppose to sit while we waited for our turn, I made eye contact with Sasuke. He was glaring at me but I'm not really sure s looked Naruto for a split second before looking back at me. Ignoring him Naruto and I went to a seat not too far Shikamaru.

"Its okay, its okay," I kept whispering to myself while everyone went. What if it is about clones? I'm not too good with it I'll need to focus and if I don't, I'll mess up. What if I walk in and I suddenly slip? That would be embarrassing. Now my stomach was hurting. It looks like everyone went it except for Naruto and I why did we have to be last?

Finally, they called Naruto, "Good luck Naru!" I smiled at him. "I'll pass for sure dattebayo!" Naruto grinned at me and went to the room. I scanned the room and noticed I'm all by myself.

After a couple minutes I saw Naruto walked out the room with his head down. "Naruto!" I yelled at him, but he ignored me and walked out. I was about to go after him; however they called my name.

"Due to the Hokage's order I need you to do the substitution jutsu unlike the others that's doing the clone jutsu," Iruka-sensie announced as I stood in front of him and Mizuki-sensei. That's wierd. Why am I doing the something different than the others? I'm not going to  complain though. 

Making sure I wasn't thinking of anything else I focused my chakra and did the hand signs. Poof! I substituted with the chair that was across the room. I sighed and smiled. "Good job Kaiya, do you want a black or blue headband?" Mizuki-sensie asked me. "Black please."

"Looks like we're out of black I can go to the storage to go get it for you?" Iruka-sensie suggested. "Please."

"Wait!" I yelled to Iruka-sensie before he left the room, "Yes Kaiya?" "Did Naruto pass?" I asked him. "That information is confidential," he answered as I furrowed my eyebrows.

By the time I got my headband Naruto was gone. Walking around the village I couldn't find him. What could he be doing right now that he left me?

I got tired of looking for him and I went dango shop and took a break from looking for him. Naruto and I were going to treat ourselves after he became ninjas now, we couldn't now because I couldn't find him. I sighed and closed my eyes, I'll go look for Naruto again. I got up again and put on my shoes and went to look for him.
