I let out a sigh as I stood in line like everyone else, since we came late we didn't have time so we so we were now waiting for the instructions. "First of all, I'd like to congratulate you all on finishing the second exam in one piece." Anko declared.  There should've been a buffet here to congratulate us because I twice in those pass five days, I'm sure Choji would've agreed with me

I cast a glance around the room I saw Shikamaru and his team, Hinata's, and Neji's, and Gaara's. And dread came all over me thinking about our last encounter, I guess I'll look pass the craziness because he looks like panda.

"Hey, hey, old man Hokage, Iruka-sensei, and the super brows are here too," Naruto whispered to us. "Feels like everyone important is here." I looked to see where he was looking at and saw Kakashi-sensei. I glared at him when made eye contact, stupid liar.

"We will now have an explanation of the Third Exam from Hokage-sama," Anko said. Heh, another liar. "Everyone better listen well! Hokage-sama, please do the honors." She turned to the Hokage.

"The Third Exam will begin. But before the explanation, there's one thing I want to make clear to all of you. It's about the true purpose of this exam, why we do a joint exam with the allied nations. To maintain good relations with the allied nations' and Heighten the level of the ninja." While I looked at the Hokage speaking I couldn't help but wonder why he would hide my parents from me.

Were my parents some type of S-rank criminals, spies that wrecked havoc here, or was I stolen from another village? What could they possible be hiding. Luna and Daisuke what kind of people where you? Did I get those freaky eyes from my dad,mom, or both and why did it hurt so much? I'll find out all I need to know after this, tired of being in the dark. 

"In this Third Exam, feudal lords and famous people from various countries who may be potential clients are invited here as guests." The Hokage continued. "And feudal lords from countries with hidden villages and Ninjas leaders will see your battles."

"If there's a significant difference in power, the strong country will be flooded with jobs. If a country is seen weak, their jobs will decrease, and at the same time, countries are able to show how their villages has grown and possess excellent military power to the adjacent countries. In other words, they can put foreign pressure on them."

"So why do we have to fight with the risk of losing our lives?" Kiba asked asked. I let out a loud sigh, now noticing I've been sighing a lot and next thing you know I'll have grey hair. I'm going off topic. Can they hurry up please!!

"A country's power is the village's power. A village's power is the ninja's power, and a ninja's true power is only born in life-or-death battle," the Hokage answered. "This exam is also a place to show off the ninja power of one's country. Since this is an exam where you fight with your life on the line, it has a meaning and your predecessors have fought and dreamed of being in the Chunin Exam because of it."

"But why do you say it is to promote good relations?" Tenten asked. Another question asked, where they not hungry, cause I sure was. And the longer they take, the hungrier I get.

"I told you at the beginning to not get it confused with that. The customs of saving one's life and fighting to maintain balance, that is the good relation in the world on ninja. This is a life-or-death battle for your dream and village dignity." The Hokage answered for like the 8th time today.

"I understand now!" Naruto shouted. Well if he gets it then there should be no questions from anyone else. 

"I don't care," Gaara said. At least someone who kinds of relate to me but he probably couldn't wait to kill someone while I just wanted food. "Tell us the details of this life-or-death exam."
