Beep!
Beep!
"That's all the blood I need." The nurse grabbed the small tubes of blood and grabbed the charts. "Lady Tsunade will be back with your test results, and I told your friends they were allowed to visit after I had finished."
I didn't spare her a glance as I continued to look at the blank white wall across me. It's been a week and a half since I've woken up, I was unconscious for a week. Today was my last day at the hospital and they were doing final check-ups. I could've left last week but Lady Tsunade wanted to be extremely safe, even though I constantly told her I was fine.
According to the nurse I should've died with that injury I got but because I'm Tsuroki my blood cells were able to reproduce themselves fast enough for me to live. I guess I was lucky. My hand unconsciously moved to where the bandages were tightly wrapped around my chest. It will probably leave a scar.
I sighed I heard Naruto's and Sakura's noisy footsteps that was heading right to my room. It's not that I just wanted it to be quiet, I wanted my space. The door busted open and blonde and pink came in sight.
"Kaiya!" Naruto smiled and jumped unto my bed sitting at the edge. I watched Sakura's eye twitch before she dragged Naruto off my bed. "How many times do I have to tell you not to do that, she's a patient!" Not for long.
"Today's her last day, so that barely counts anymore!" Naruto argued. Like I said they were just loud. "Talking about that are you ready to leave this suffocating place? Ready to get back in the field?!"
"Yup." I replied. "It's boring here."
"Since you couldn't be on this mission that we just came from, let me tell you about it." Naruto went about to tell his story with Sakura interrupting a few times telling him he was over-exaggerating. My mind slipped off and wandered. I looked around the room and glanced at all get well flowers, stuffed animals, and cards. Some were from my friends and the rest were from the villagers.
I remember the first two of when I woke up. Everyone was avoiding eye contact being gently with me as if I would break any second and that could only mean one thing. Well two things. Sasuke had left and thought I was probably traumatized or something like that.
Flashback
"And just when I thought I was getting away from angry Sakura, Grandma had corned me!" Naruto told his story looking everywhere but the girl. "And you know she gets when she's angry she grabbed me by the-"
"Sasuke left right?"
"What?" Naruto paused and looked at Kaiya shocked.
"Sasuke Uchiha," she said aggravated. "He left the leaf village?"
"Y-yes," He stuttered. "How did you know?"
"It's quite obvious when all of you acting like that." She answered. "I should've known he would've left when he saw an opportunity when I wasn't aware."
"What does that mean?" Naruto questioned.
"Don't worry about it," she quicky responded. "He left that same night, didn't he?" She looked down she could feel her eyes burning. "...actually, don't answer that." Kaiya fixed herself and laid down.
End of Flashback
"But you know Kaiya," my mind went to where I actually was and listened to them. "It would've been better if you were here. Everything is better when you're around. Believe it!"
"Thank you, Naruto," I smiled that made me feel better, honestly.
"You know I wouldn't be your best friend if I didn't bring our favorite." He held a back to my face. "Chicken miso ramen and... cotton candy!"
