I tried to run as fast as I could, but the people were relentless, and they just kept getting faster. I stumbled over roots and rocks, my heart racing as I searched for shelter. Suddenly, I tripped and fell, and when I looked up, they were surrounding me, their faces twisted in anger and hatred. "Kaiya!"

I tried to scream, but no sound came out; I was trapped and helpless. Just as she was about to stab me with the kunai, I woke up gasping for air. "Kaiya!"

"Huh?" I looked around to see Sasuke staring at me. "Wake up we have to meet up with Kakashi we have a mission today." Sasuke voiced and walked from my bed. Kami, I'm so tired. He was about to walk out of the room but stopped. "Are... are you okay? You looked like you were having nightmares?"

"I'm fine," I mumbled as I pushed myself off the bed. "Hn," he closed the door behind him. I grabbed the towel and dragged myself to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and dragged my fingers over my dark circles. Ugly.

It's been a few days since Sasuke and I started training. He seems somewhat satisfied. I've been sleeping less but oh well. What's done is done. I brushed my teeth and got in shower putting on my clothes including my chunin vest.

Sasuke and I decided to skip breakfast and have Kakashi pay for our lunch. We walked to our usual meeting place which was the bridge in silence as my mind wandered off.

I should've been more careful with what I did. Especially during the Chunin Exams I barely have a memory of what I did. It's like I blacked out when I killed that ninja. The one was totally my fault I should've controlled my emotions better. Ninjas don't act upon emotions.

Maybe if I tell someone my self-conscious won't kill myself. I tried burying it down in the back of my mind, but it didn't work. It was only a matter of time before it made its appearance. I tried hiding writing it down, however that was useless. I can't tell Sasuke because I fear that he'll call me hypocrite and encourage him somehow into being maniac.

I definitely can't tell Naruto because of the promise we made when we were younger. I can't break his heart after all that was supposed to be our ninja way. Sakura would only freak out, she wouldn't understand. Perhaps I'll tell Kakashi he's an experienced ninja. I'm sure he has killed a few people, he probably knows how to cope with it.

But it's not like I can walk up to him and say 'Help me I keep having nightmares because I killed two people.' That would totally be- "Kaiya!"

"What?" I asked, confused, and I noticed we had already arrived. Naruto and Sakura were standing in front me with Naru waving his hand in front of my face. "Good morning you guys," I greeted. "Good morning, Kaiya." Sakura replied.

"Hmm, something is different about you, I've seen it before somewhere." Naruto commented with a hand under his chin inspecting me. "I put my hair in a bun for the first time, " I answered knowing obviously they were talking about my outfit. "Clearly it's her new outfit," Sakura voiced.

"Hmm, I don't think so," He responded. "Then is it those dark circles?" Sakura questioned. I deadpanned at Sakura's bold statement. Did she have to say that out loud. "You right, there so big," Naruto exclaimed. "But it's still not it." He shook his head.

"Idiots," Sasuke mumbled.

"Hmm...," Naru circled me. "Hmmmm... you have a Chunin vest!" He exclaimed. "When did you become a Chunin Kai-chan?" he asked excitedly. "Wow," Sakura awed. "Congratulations, but aren't they usually short sleeved?"

"It can be long sleeve too," Naruto answered. "I saw these type once when I broke into the uniform storage when I was pranking the Jonin." He answered like it was normal. Only him can say anything like that without a care in the world.
