"You guys have everything ready?" Lady Tsunade asked. We all nodded in response waiting for instructions. "You look you haven't been sleeping well, Kaiya," She looked at me, but before I could say something Naruto did. "She's looked like that since foreverr," Naruto answered. "So, get on with it, so we can leave!"
A tick mark appeared on Lady Tsunade head, "Don't rush me you brat!" She sighed and cleared her throat before continuing. This was a B-rank mission, and I was leading Team 7, no pressure. Just that all their lives are in my hands including the client. And that one mistake can cost one of our lives, and if not all of ours. No pressure at all.
"Kaiya you're the leader, no one else should be bossing you around, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't take advice. Don't let Naruto do anything too stupid that would get him killed and control your..." She stopped and glanced at Sasuke.
"Ehh? What's that's supposed to mean!" Naruto yelled, but was ignored. "Remember he's your utmost importance," she pointed to our client that was standing in the corner with the carriage drive and maid. He was the second son of a rich businessman. He was going to Kigature village to marry the village chief's daughter, a rich town with a lot of natural resources.
"This a big responsibility Kaiya." Lady Tsunade said seriously making eye contact with me. "Never let your guard until you make it back into my office, always pay attention to your surroundings..." There was pregnant pause before she continued. "That's about it, you can go now!"
We all bowed and headed for the door. "We'll be back with good news!" Naruto waved goodbye. We walked to the gate with the carriage already waiting for us. "You ready to go, Aiki?" I asked the client.
"Yes, I am," he responded. "But I'm wondering how long it will take for us to get to the village?"
"It shouldn't take more than three days," I answered as I helped my teammates put the bags in the carriage. "Three days?" I heard a squeal. Looking back, I see Aiki with a frightened look on his face.
"You said it would take a day!" He turned to look at his maid. " Well Sir I said I wasn't sure-," she stuttered. "So, you are telling me I'm going to sit in this scrawny carriage for three days!" He shouted. "Hey!" Naruto stepped in.
"Don't be mean to her, she said she didn't know besides shouldn't that been your job figuring out where you are going."
"Mind your business pipsqueak!" Aiki retorted. "What good is she if she can't do simple task, I knew I should've taken Haru with me." He shook his head. "Useless."
"It is my business," Naruto answered. "Now get on the carriage, you're slowing us down."
"Who are you to give me orders, I don't want to suffocate in that thing," Aiki turned around like a toddler having a tantrum. "This is ridiculous," Sasuke muttered as he put the last luggage on the carriage.
"Gahhh! Can we get another client!" Naruto pulled on his hair.
I could feel an irk mark on my head as I listened to him ramble on. Why did my first client have to be so annoying. If only I could glue his mouth together. "Sir Aiki, I don't want to have to tie you up and put you in this carriage" I gave him a closed eyed smile.
"W-what?!" He gasped. "Is this how you treat your clients, especially me?"
"I was told to leave as soon as we could and besides you father wanted you to get there early, remember," I responded. "Now get on, so we can leave." He grumbled as he got in the carriage muttering a few words I could care less about. "Everything is set," Sasuke announced as double checked on the ropes holding the luggage.
