Chapter 6

I hid in a tree looking down down at the ground with a bored face. I'm tired of doing these stupid missions. Damn this stupid cat. I could've been doing something more productive that this like eating.

"Sasuke, I'm at point B."

"Kaiya at point D."

"Sakura, I'm at point A."

...

"Naruto?" I questioned.

"Naruto here at point C!" He screamed almost making me go deaf.

"You're too slow, Naruto." Kakashi replied, "Alright, target is in sight... its on the move, go!" Well dashed through the forest jumping on trees trying to catch out targets. Luckily, Naruto got to the target first and pounced on it. In which caused the cat to start scratching Naruto making him yell.

"Does the cat have a pink ribbon on its ear?" Kakashi asked us. "Affirmative," Sasuke replied.

"Lost pet Tora captured; mission accomplished."

"We need better missions than this, I'm tired of doing chores no wants to do," I complained as I held Tora in arms petting her head. "Eh? How come she's not scratching you?" Naruto glared at the cat making it hiss at him.

"Maybe I'm a cat person but beside that, I saw Shikamaru, and his team catch this cat the day before. And Hinata's team caught the same cat last week." I stated as we walked in the Hokage's office ready to give the cat back.

"Here's your pet," I said to the big lady handing out cat. My face made an odd look as I looked at the big lady suffocating the cat between her chest. If she does this every day, I don't blame the cat for running away.

"Haha serves that cat right," Naruto laughed. "Please take better care of your cat this is the third time your cat ran away this month, if I have to catch this cat one more time, I'll set it free or I'm going to keep her for myself," I faked smile at the lady. "I'll try, she just likes to play around too much, lets go home mommy has some treats for you." The lady left the room after giving the money to the Hokage.

"Now for squad seven's next mission," the hokage looked through the paper that was in his hands, "We have several available, babysitting, shopping, taking care of the council's three-year-old kid." I frowned at the hokage hearing what mission he had for us. They were chores! How will babysitting help us defend ourselves in the future?

"No No No!" Naruto howled as he crossed his arms. "I want to go on a real mission! Something challenging and exciting, not this little kid stuff. Come on, old man!" What Naruto said it was what all of us were thinking he just had the guts to say it to hokage.

He's right, if we keep doing the chores the owners don't want to do they'll get fat just like that lady that came here. And if we keep doing these so called 'missions' we might just become like you, doing nothing good for the village." I said nodding my head in agreement with Naruto. "Kaiya!" I turned back looking at Kakashi who was glaring at me with his eyes glowing. "I'll shut up." I raised my hands in defense. "Good."

"Kiaya how dare you disrespect the Hokage like that!" Iruka-sensei looked like he was about to kill me. I rolled my eyes and looked at the window. Was I wrong? No, what has he done beside sit in that damn chair and smoke?

" And You're just a brand new genin fresh out of the academy and you start with d-ranked missions like everybody else!" Iruka-sensei continued.

Forgetting what I just told Kakashi sensei I spoke up, "You sound like a mom Iruka-sensei." I was then hit on the head by Kakashi, "You need to put a lid on it too." Tss

I turned my attention to Naruto who was explaining to us what he wanted to eat instead of listening to the hokage going on about who knows what. It was actually all of us at this point. "So, I had chicken ramen yesterday, and was thinking of miso ramen today. What should I choose?"

"I think we should all eat together as a team after we finish getting our mission like a team, I'll even bless you guys with my cooking." I said making Kakashi raise an eyebrow at me. "You can cook?"

"Of course, I can, Naruto would've been way smaller if it wasn't for me. You don't have to say it, I'm an angel sent from heaven." I praised myself.

"Silence!" the hokage shouted interrupting us from our conversation. Rude much.

"Oh, sorry," Kakashi apologized.

"You always lecture me like you're my grandpa or something. I'm not that little kid who used to pull pranks all the time!" Naruto declared. I agreed with him even he pulled a prank on Kiba last week, but it doesn't matter a new week so a new person.

The hokage smiled at Naruto for a second before he spoke, "Since Naruto wants to prove to us that he's not a little kid anymore I'll give you a C-ranked mission. "I was taken back a little it was this easy to convince him?

"Who are escorting? A princess or maybe a feudal lord? Naruto asked thrilled. "I don't think it'll be anybody important since this is our first escorting mission," I said to Naruto, but it didn't look like he heard me.

"Send in our visitor."

The door opened and an old man walked in then suddenly the alcohol smell smacked us in the face. We are escorting an alcoholic? To what a bar?

"What the? A bunch of little snot nosed kids. And you, the little one with the idiotic look on his face you expect me to believe that you're ninja?" Who was this old troll talking to? 

"Who's the little one with the idiotic face? Naruto asked while laughing. We all got in line showing who was the shortest. "I'll demolish you!" Naruto tried to run at our now customer but was held back due to Kakashi holding him by the collar.

"And you expect us to believe you're in the right state of mind when you smell like that?" I sneered making him glare at me.

"What did you say you white-haired freak?" Tazuna glared at me. "You heard me, I'll cut you to pieces with my scissors," I said grabbing my scissors out of my pocket.

"You cant kill our client Naruto and you Kaiya put your scissors back in your pocket. You're starting to act too much like-" Kakashi cut himself off.

"Starting to act like who?" I looked back at him a questioning look.

"Anyways, I'm Tazuna a master bridge builder and I expect you all to get me home back safe and sound even if it kills you," he introduced himself.

"Not if I kill you first," I said under my breath.

After Kakashi and the others went back to their homes to get ready for the mission.

The Hokage's office~ ~Third person pov~

A man in a black and white rob covered in bandages walked in the office glaring at the hokage. "You going to let her leave the village?" he yelled at the hokage not showing any respect whatsoever.

"Good day to you to Danzo, and yes I did. She's with Kakashi she'll be fine," the hokage responded back.

"But still, anything could go wrong what if the other nations found out about her, they'll want her for themselves!" he yelled once again.

"It's a C-rank mission Danzo, nothing will happen, and I did seal her eyes so no one will notice."

"She would've been better off with me, you are wasting her potential," Danzo scowled and walked out.
