I found myself surrounded in a sea of voices. The constant yelling and questions echoed in my ears, it felt like my head was on the verge of exploding. Frustration boiled inside of me, raising by my anger at how everything had went.

I felt a deep  of confusion, not fully comprehending the events that led to this moment. Our way back to Konoha from our mission seemed like a blur. The barrage of questions from the people inside this rooms only made me feel even worse.

The desire to cry and scream became an almost physical ache. The hospital room, where its suppose to be quiet, transformed into a battleground for voices. Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!

"How could you do that!"

"What were you thinking?" Another one shouted. "I knew I should've never given you these much missions."

Naruto's words crashed into me like rock, each word carrying the weight of disappointment and disbelief. His usually tone what was filled with happiness, now filled with frustration and hurt.

"She didn't mean it, Naruto. It's a misunderstanding," Sakura interjected, attempting to calm him down, but I guess he didn't want to hear it.

"What you did was horrible," he began, his eyes narrowing in a mix of confusion and anger. "How could you kill all of them like that? What happened to our promise? What happened to not killing?"

My body trembled at his words with anger and hurt. How did he think I felt? How could he not believe me? And so what if I could them. It was us or them. And I chose our lives over them.

"And so what I killed them!" I shouted not meaning what I said or the next words that came out of my mouth. "Its not like it was my first time doing it! Its the way of this life Naruto, get over it!"

"What?" Naruto stepped back from the bed confused. "You've killed before?"

"I did us a favor!" I yelled. Who was he judge me? I heard the door open but I didn't bother looking. "They were going to kidnap us and kill Sakura! Don't you get it Naruto?"

"But-" He tried interjecting.

"No but! It was either our lives or theirs, and I chose our lives!" I said. "The world is not just black and white. And who says they wouldn't come for us again or another innocent person. Killing a few people is not the end of the world."

"You didn't just kill then, you sucked the life out of them!" I noticed Kakashi and Jiraiya entered with worried expressions on their faces. Kakashi's single eye widened as he took in the tense scene, and Jiraiya,  directed his attention towards Naruto.

"Easy, Naruto," Jiraiya tried to calm him down, his tone gentle but firm. "Let's talk about this. Yelling won't help anyone."

Naruto, however, was not ready to stop. "No, I need answers," Naruto retorted, his eyes locked onto mine. "I trusted her, and she betrayed that trust. I deserve to know why."

"Well, you're not getting anything out of me." I replied glaring. "I did it because I wanted to."

"Then, you're a monster." The room felt colder, with the weight of his words settled on my shoulders. I could feel the tears threatening to spill out of my eyes, with the words he spit out.

"Naruto," Kakashi spoke up grabbing him by the collar. "Take a step back."

"It's time to go, kid." Jiraiya said taking him from Kakashi. I could feel my breaths became shallow and erratic as panic tightened. The air, once familiar now felt thin and suffocating. The world blurred around me, and I clutched at my chest, my hands trembling. Naruto's disappointed expression haunting me.
