"Ano? Hindi ka pa uuwi?" tanong ko kay Alaric matapos kong maipost 'yong cookies na dala niya.

Umiling ito at ngumiti saka naupo sa couch namin. He even got the remote control and opened the television. Napailing na lang ako sa mga ginagawa nito. He's that comfortable here in the house already.

Umupo na lang ako sa tabi niya at inaya siyang kumain ng cookies kasama ko. Well, I know I said I was craving for it but I'm actually not into sweets so I need someone to eat it with me.

Good thing he didn't leave yet.

"Ano ba 'yang pinapanood mo? Umagang-umaga patayan na agad," turan ko habang nakakunot-noo.

"What do you want then? Romance? Chick flicks? Ang baduy naman no'n sa umaga," tugon lang nito habang focused pa rin sa pinapanood niya.

"Mas baduy 'yan sa umaga 'no," singhal ko.

He didn't budge. Instead, he opened his mouth wide open. I just furrowed my brows while looking at him. Ano na namang trip nito sa buhay?

"Cookies," anito.

"Ha?" Kunot-noong tanong ko ulit dito.

"Cookies. Subuan mo ako."

"Hala. Paralisado ka na pala? Kailan pa?"

Tinignan ako nito nang nakasimangot. "Subuan mo na kasi ako."

"Tigilan mo nga ako, Alaric. May kamay ka. Eat on your own," turan ko at akmang tatayo pero bigla naman ako nitong hinila causing me to go out of balance and trip on his body.

Oh men, now we looked like cuddling with one another in the morning. I tried going away from him but he just won't let me.

"Alaric ano ba! Let go of me!" I said that in a very much annoyed tone. I'm afraid my family will see us in this state. It's too early and he's not even my boyfriend!

"Alaric!" I shouted once more but still, he didn't budge.

"Tell me you'll do it first," he said.

"What?"

"Cookies."

"Alaric, my goodness."

"Please, suki?"

"Will you stop calling me that? It's so annoying."

"I like you too."

"I didn't said I like you!"

He laughed. "I just want you to know, really."

"He also said that to me. He always assured me. How sure are you that your feelings won't change, Alaric?" I asked, suddenly becoming serious because of the memories that flashed through my mind again.

"You ask me how sure I am?" he asked back and looked at me. Tumango ako. Gusto kong malaman kasi natatakot akong mawalan na naman. Mabilis akong magkagusto sa tao. Paano kung mahulog ulit ako? At paano kung mawala lang siya ulit?
