Pier was currently in the training grounds of the Central Mansion once more. He was training with Liza, the instructor assigned by his father.

"Maintain your focus, young master!" she said as sweat dripped down Pier's forehead. He was concentrating so much to produce a new form of wind in his palm. Two weeks had already passed and he became proficient at producing wind orbs and was now trying to manifest a new form at his control in the wind element

'Ugh, why is this so hard?' He thought as his hand shook and sweat continued to form. Pier thought of the time he created the wind orb. He did not think about the form when he was concentrating at that time and so he hypothesized that creating a new form would not also need any visualizations either.

'Fucking...hard, ugh!' he thought before gusts of wind gathered in his palm. When Pier opened his eyes, he was disappointed to see that it was a deformed wind orb in his palm. The transparent orb had multiple cracks and it seems it was about to crumble at any moment.

"This is hard," he uttered as he grabbed his handkerchief and wiped the sweat off his face. He was stuck in a wall producing a new form in his wind element. He thought it would be the same as how he created the wind orbs but it was much harder than he expected.

Despite his constant mumblings and disappointment, Liza thought otherwise.

'It was his first day to train in producing a new form in his element and he already made progress! A prodigy!' She was flabbergasted at how talented Pier was in magic. He was already able to start deforming the wind orb in a single day which would usually take weeks to even form cracks in it.

"Do not worry, young master. It will be hard since you have been training magic for only two weeks at most. It is already a great achievement to start disassembling the wind orb and you might already be able to procure a new form in the next few days!" She complimented the exceeding talent of the young master in front of her. She observed how Pier was breathing heavily and was catching his breath along the process.

Liza heard that talented mages around the continent had a similar experience with the young master in front of her. They can use magic proficiently even at the early stages.

But Pier was sort of different. While these so-called talented mages can properly use two elements and slowly increase their proficiency in using them, Pier was the opposite. He was able to achieve almost maximum proficiency at using only a single element in a short amount of time.

'I guess prodigies differ in the way they handle things.' She was convinced that Pier was indeed a prodigy at using single elemental magic.

'Should I lessen my time practicing my fire elemental magic? I want to learn how to produce a new form in my wind magic for now.' Pier contemplated. With Liza, he was practicing his wind magic and when he was alone, he would practice his fire magic. Two weeks ago, he was able to produce a fire orb but for only a short amount of time.

Right now, Pier was able to produce a fire orb with almost the same proficiency as his wind orb. He was happy that he was now able to cast two elemental orbs but he was also disappointed that his growth was stunted with the other form manifestations.

Eliam was a very competitive person and does not settle himself unless he achieved what he desired and his dilemma with the form creation is making him annoyed.

"Thank you, instructor. I will continue training my wind magic formations," he said before respectfully bowing to his instructor. Pier had learned a lot from Liza, who was a high-ranking mage in the kingdom. Mages ranging from high ranked to the highest rankings are already considered as important weapons in the battle brigades thus his increased respect for the instructor assigned by his father.
