The week went on and Violet was getting more and more into the boxing as the time was going on. I was happy for her and cheering her on from the sidelines the whole time.
I always had my camera with me, taking pictures and making sure not to miss a shot.
They all turned out amazing and Violet was loving the pictures so much that she would hang them up in her room.
I was glad she was having fun doing boxing even when I thought she wouldn't enjoy it. I guess people don't know what they would enjoy unless they actually do it.
Throughout the whole week, Hayden would pick on me about looking at Diamond but I ignored him. I tried not looking over at her too much or just act like I was looking around when he would catch me.
It hard though.
She had a mystery behind her that was slowly getting to me and I didn't even know her.
The worse part about all of this was that I had to see her almost everyday at the boxing thing and she would sometimes catch me looking at her.
It was hard sitting up there now when this woman was constantly invading my thoughts when I was there.
I wasn't thinking about her outside of the gym so I wasn't sure what the deal was.
"Violet said she was going to be fighting someone today." Hayden walked up the bleachers with popcorn.
I stared at him as he sat down next to me. "Where did you get that popcorn?" I look around until I saw a small stand across the gym. "I want some."
"Then go get some." He popped some in his mouth then smiled at me.
Shaking my head, I stood up before looking down at him. "I thought you were a friend. Friends are suppose to do things for you when you're too lazy to do it yourself." I heard him laugh as I walked down the bleachers before walking around the gym towards the little stand.
Patting my back pocket, I made sure I had my wallet on me. I wasn't sure what I was about to get but I wanted some candy.
I stood in line and looked around as everyone was practicing in the middle of the gym or people were walking in, finding their seats.
Today was something special, as what Violet said. I remember her telling me they were competing in a small fight today with each other to see who's the best.
Not sure why but there was a lot of people here, so it must be pretty important.
After the line cleared, I was next and I smiled at the man behind the stand. I looked around and got some M&M's with a Sprite.
I looked around until I saw Diamond out in the middle of the gym, instructing someone as they were hitting a bag. I kept watching as she was walking around and talking to the girl as she was hitting the bag.
She had her hands on her hips, walking around the bag as the girl was hitting and I kept staring until I noticed the man behind the stand was talking to me.
"Sorry. Thank you." I smile as I grabbed my stuff then walked away.
I walked back around to where Hayden was sitting then climbed up and sat down next to him. I smiled at him as I placed my M&M's next to me and opened my can.
"There's your girlfriend." Hayden pointed and I looked over to see Diamond with that girl.
I look over at him as he chuckles and I shook my head. "Shut up." I took a sip of my drink before looking around to find Violet. "Where's Violet?"
"She went to the bathroom."
Nodding, I opened my M&M's before pouring some in my hand and eating them. I saw Hayden grab a few before eating them and I stared at him for a moment.
"Really?"
"Sharing is caring." Looking at him, he smiles before looking over and elbowing my arm. "Here comes your girlfriend."
I look over to see her walking to the bleachers and this time, she was sitting right below us. I saw Hayden smile at me as I rolled my eyes but didn't look down at her.
Violet walks over and smiles at us before seeing Diamond. She stops in front of her and starts talking to her as I was watching her, then she walks up the bleachers towards us.
"Hi."
"What did you talk to that woman about?" Hayden asked.
"Just to see if she would give me some pointers before I started my fight." She sat down one step below us. "I'm nervous."
Hayden smiles as he pats her shoulder. "It's ok. You got this and you'll kick ass."
"Thanks." She smiles at us before looking around.
After a few minutes, someone announced that it was time to start and Violet hugged us before walking down the bleachers. I saw her walk towards a man before talking to him and they walked off.
"This place is crowded." Hayden looks around.
"A lot of people love boxing." I look around until I saw Diamond standing with someone then she looked around for a moment until she looked over at me.
I look away and over at Hayden as he was looking towards the gym floor. I saw him look over at me and smile. "What?"
"I think I'm going to walk around and take pictures of Violet."
"Ok. Don't get hit." He laughs as I was walking down the bleachers.
I saw Violet over near the wall and I walked towards her before grabbing my camera and turning it on. I stopped and placed it up to my face before looking through and seeing Violet, taking shots that look amazing.
Violet saw me and started smiling as she would hit the man's glove as hard as she could. I would get every shot and gave her the thumbs up after she was done.
"Print those out for me!"
I nodded as I walked back towards the bleachers then saw Diamond walking towards me. I stop and stare at her before looking around then seeing her stop in front of me.
"I thought I told you not to take pictures."
"Um," I look down at my camera before looking back up at her. "I'm just taking pictures of my friend."
"Well stop."
"Why?"
"It's distracting and they're practicing." She started walking away but I followed.
"I'm just taking pictures of her. No one else and it's not-"
She turns around to face me. "Do you want to be kicked out?"
"No."
"Then listen." She looks at me for a moment before turning around and walking away.
I stood there for a moment before walking back to the bleachers and sitting next to Hayden.
He looks at me as I look over at him. "What was that about?"
"She told me to stop taking pictures of Violet cause it was distracting. If I didn't listen then I'll be kicked out."
He stares at me before looking away. "Damn." He chuckles. "Your girlfriend has an attitude."
"I'm going to punch you." I shook my head before looking around until I saw Diamond standing with someone, talking to them before turning around towards the bleachers.
As I kept looking at her, she looks over and meets my eyes before I look away and shake my head. I stared at Violet the whole time, not once touching my camera or even looking over at Diamond anymore.
