Work was kicking my ass.
I was tired and didn't feel like doing anything, so I was basically sitting at my desk staring at my computer screen forever.
It was a boring ass day.
I was exhausted.
Last night was the night that I spent the night at Diamond by accident.
Nothing happened this morning cause she was nowhere in sight so I left.
My work called me at four in the morning asking if I could come in and I wanted to cry but said yeah.
I left without waking anyone up then headed home to get ready.
It was too much.
I was tired.
Yawning was my sport right now and I was winning.
That's all I was doing.
It was only nine.
This was bullshit.
"Any new story?" My boss poked her head in to look at me.
Looking at her, I shook my head as I really wasn't doing shit for a story. I don't know why I was off my game so much cause I used to bring back stories that were amazing.
"You look exhausted."
Nodding, I saw her walk in further before stopping. "Well, I got a call at four this morning to come in."
She smiles. "I'll make it two next time. You know that's your job. When I call, you come in."
"I know. I just.. I was babysitting last night."
"On the side job?"
"More like helping a friend out."
She nods. "Well, I'll let you leave at twelve, ok?"
I saw her walk out of the office and I looked at the clock on my desk. I saw that I had three more hours of this.
Leaning back, I stretched my arms out before hearing my phone vibrate on my desk. I lean back towards it before picking it up and seeing Diamond's name on my screen.
Staring at it, I slowly opened the messaged and read it.
Thanks for babysitting last night. Not sure what time you left but the girls were wondering when they didn't see you. I'll pay you whenever. Thanks again.
Smiling, I messaged her back.
Got called into work. Tell them I'm sorry and I'll see them soon
Looking at my computer screen, I sighed before looking through shit and all my pictures I took over the last few weeks.
I wasn't even sure what story was even hot right now.
I never go out and ride through town, looking around and trying to find some shit.
Sighing, I look through the pictures and smiled when I saw Morgan and Madison. I looked through them more to see them posing in front of the pool or jumping in.
Then we took pictures of us as we were all jumping in and that made me smile.
I realized that I enjoyed watching them a lot.
The next three hours were a pain in the ass.
It was dragging so slow until twelve finally reached and I was out of here.
"Make sure you bring me a story, Journey. You're my best but you're slacking."
Nodding, I saw my boss at her desk when I came in. "Got it. Sorry."
