It's been a few days and everything was a little weird ever since that night.
Diamond hasn't shown her face at the gym since then and it was a little worrying.
Violet asks a few people, trainers, but they didn't know where she was at either.
It was weird.
"She's in hiding cause you beat her ass." Hayden joked.
I didn't believe that.
She's a professional.
One loss shouldn't affect her.
Right?
There's no way that lose did that much damage on her to where she hiding now.
But something was going on.
"Violet wants us to go to the gym and get something her trainer has for her. Some paperwork."
Hayden was sitting across from me at the table as I was pushing my noodles around the bowl. I didn't feel like eating and it's been like this for a few days now.
Looking at him, I nod before looking back down at the bowl of noodles before taking a bite.
Violet was at work and won't be home until later and we both don't have to work today so it was just us.
After we were done eating, I went upstairs to get out of my pajamas before walking back downstairs and meeting him at the front door.
I walked to the car as he was locking the door and I got in, waiting for him.
After we left, I looked out the window and thought about Diamond. It was something I couldn't shake the thought of and it was driving me insane.
This whole situation was not making any sense.
Everyone kept saying that she was ashamed of showing her face after losing to a nobody but I didn't believe that.
That wasn't true.
It was something else.
And it didn't have anything to do with the fight.
When we pulled up, Hayden asked if I wanted to wait out in the car and I said no cause it was too hot. I got out and we walked inside before walking to the big double doors that to lead to the gym.
Walking in was a little weird for me even though it's only been a few days since that night.
It was Wednesday now but it still felt weird.
Looking around, Hayden saw Violet's trainer before telling me to take a seat and wait for him. I did just that as I walked to the bleachers and sat on the bottom step.
I didn't bring my camera, but I really didn't care about bringing it right now.
So I just sat there and stared off into the distant until I felt someone walk up to me and stop. I look over and let my eyes travel from their shoes, upwards to their face and I felt my heart start racing.
Diamond.
She was standing there with her arms crossed but wasn't saying anything until she looked around and motioned with her head to follow her.
I got up, looked around before following her to the locker room.
I was a little confused and more scared than confused, but after we were in the locker room, I followed her to the lockers before stopping when she stopped.
"Everyone said you disappeared." I said as she was looking at me.
She was standing there with her arms crossed, staring at me for a moment. "Not for the reason everyone thinks." I slowly nod as I watch her. "It was due to personal reasons."
