I'm not sure how long I was sitting against my car for, but I knew I was there for a while cause I started getting messages and calls from people.
Violet called.
Then Hayden called.
Diamond called more than all of them combined.
The pain in my body was unbearable. I couldn't even get up no matter how hard I tried. I wasn't even sure if I could even move at all cause every movement was painful.
So I stayed in that position for a while until I got enough strength and got myself up enough to where I could hold onto my car.
Without falling.
As I was holding onto the car, I made my way to the driver seat and managed to get in without any problems.
I sat there for a moment and felt pain shoot through every part of my body. I leaned my head against the seat for a moment and breathed a few times before starting the car and leaving.
The texts were still coming in but I ignored them as I was driving.
I was either going to go back home and come up with a lie about all this shit or I was going to Diamond's.
I chose the latter.
Why would I go back to the house and ignore what happened when I can get the police involved since I knew who did this.
Ryder and Lance will get what's coming to them.
I'll find them before the police does.
As I pulled down Diamond's road, I was a little nervous but I pushed it aside as I pulled into her driveway and turned the car off.
I sat there for a moment as I stared at the house in front of me before grabbing my keys and trying to make my way out of the car before shutting it.
Leaning against it was so much better then trying to walk but I knew I had to get to the door.
I was trying my best to walk up to the door but it was a process that I didn't like. I was in so much pain but I stuck it out and got to te door before knocking and leaning on it a little.
Which wasn't a good idea cause when the door swung open, I fell forward.
I was waiting for the impact but it never came as I was being held and when I looked up, I saw Brooke staring at me with concern.
"Diamond!" She yells as she turns her head.
As I was trying to stand up, Brooke was still holding onto me as I looked past her and saw Diamond walking into the main entrance.
When she saw me, something in her whole body language changed as she rushed to me before grabbing me.
"What happened?"
"Ryder and Lance jumped me." I winced a little as Diamond leaned down and picked me up before taking me to the living room.
She gently placed me on the couch and I leaned against the arm of the couch as I stared at her when she sat down next to me. I saw her looking me over before her eyes landed on me.
"Just now?"
"Yeah. They followed me back from the store." I thought for a moment before groaning. "I have groceries in the trunk."
"I'll get them." Brooke said as she walks away.
Diamond stares at me before letting her eyes travel over my body, inspecting every part and I could see how much she cares about me through her eyes.
"Have you called the police?"
"Not yet."
She nods as she kept looking me over before settling her eyes on mine. "I'm going to call the police. I need you to tell them everything exactly."
Nodding, I saw her lean over and gently kiss my forehead. I smiled once she pulls back and she got up before walking out of the living room.
I laid there as I stared at the ceiling, feeling pain through my body and wanting revenge so bad.
My hatred for them were fuming as I sat there clenching my fists, wanting to find them and beat the shit out of them.
But knowing that wouldn't do any good, I sighed as I stayed there and stared at the ceiling until Diamond walked back in.
She sat down next to me before looking at me. "The cops will be here soon. They're going to ask you some questions."
Nodding, I sat there as Diamond was staring at me. I looked at her before hearing the girls yell and Diamond got up quickly before walking towards them as they were walking into the living room.
I heard her talking to them for a moment before she came back in and sat back on the couch.
"I told them they didn't need to come in here right now."
Brooke came back a few minutes later and had the bags I got from the grocery store. I saw her walk through before walking into the kitchen then coming back a few moments later.
"Thanks." I smiled at her.
"No problem."
I saw her sit on the arm of the couch as she was watching us and Diamond was still staring at me as I was sitting there.
"So, who did this?" Brooke asks.
Looking over at her, I saw her watching me. "Ryder and Lance."
"Do you know them?"
"Ryder is someone I work with and Lance was the guy that trained me when I fought Diamond. He goes to the gym as well."
She slowly nods. "What's his last name?"
"I don't know-"
"Yale." Diamond said as she turns her head slightly to Brooke.
I saw Brooke look at her before her expression changed on her face as if she just realized something.
"Wait-"
Diamond got up and I saw Brooke look at me before holding up a finger and following Diamond out of the living room.
Sitting there, I was a little confused as I didn't know what that was about. I couldn't hear them as they weren't in the kitchen cause they walked through the main entrance and away from ear shot.
Then it hit me.
Ryder said his brother had a past with Diamond.
I remembered him telling me that she trained him but is that it?
It couldn't be just that.
There's no way someone would do dumb shit just cause someone trained them.
But what could it be?
Diamond seemed as though something clicked when I mentioned Lance and the way she said his last name.
I knew it was something a little bit deeper from the past.
After a few minutes, Diamond walked back in and sat down in the same spot before Brooke walked in and sat on the arm of the couch.
"The cops should be here soon."
Brooke shook her head. "That's stupid. Lance is an asshole and his brother is a psychopath. Always has been."
Diamond looks at her and Brooke shuts up.
"Sorry." She said.
I look at Diamond, desperately wanting to ask her about Lance but I knew that it was a boundary I couldn't step over.
Nobody should ever step over something like that.
But maybe one day I'll have the answers.
Maybe.
