Things were getting more serious as next week was coming up fast and I was still not prepared to fight Diamond.
I didn't want to lose this time.
But I had no confidence and I knew that losing was up at the top of what was going to happen.
The next few days, I came to the gym with Violet and cheered her on as she was fighting someone and when she won, I was the loudest one as I stood up and cheered above everyone else.
Hayden was right next to me doing the same thing.
Violet was happy and I was proud of her.
"So, are you ready for the fight?"
I look over at Hayden as he was looking at me. "Not at all."
"Why did you agree to rematch? You're going to lose again."
"Thanks for the confidence boost." I shook my head as I looked around and knew that I was going to lose anyways.
There was nothing for me to do.
Unless there was.
"I have four days."
Hayden looks at me and nods. "Yes. Four days until you get your ass kicked again."
"Maybe if.." I look around at all the boxers. "I ask for help and someone could train me."
"In four days?" He asks. "You need a miracle. Nobody can train for four days and beat a professional boxer."
"I can try."
"Where are you going?"
I stood up and was walking down the bleachers before Hayden stopped me. I look back him and shrugged. "To ask for help."
After I got off the bleachers then walked around as I was watching some of the boxers. I looked around and saw Diamond standing with someone and made sure she didn't see me.
The last thing I need was her to see me asking for help.
I saw several people, but I wasn't sure if they could help me.
"Hey."
Looking over, I saw a guy standing near the wall. He was drinking some water as I could see sweat dripping down his body as he didn't have a shirt on.
"Hi."
"I saw you the other day with Diamond." He looks at me before slightly smiling. "Not the smartest thing someone ever did."
"I got that." I sigh as I look around before walking towards him.
He looks at me for a moment before looking around. "What are you looking for? Inspiration?"
"Something like that." I cross my arms as I look over at him. "I need someone to train me."
"Train you? For the fight this Friday?"
Nodding, I look around. "Yeah."
"Nobody in this whole gym is as good as Diamond. She's a professional."
"Yeah, I know that." I sigh as I look around. "But someone can train me."
He gave me a confused look when I look over at him. "Training you in four days to fight a professional is on a whole new level of difficulty."
Sighing, I look away. "So, I'm basically screwed."
"Why did you offer to fight her?"
"It's a long story." I shook my head as I look over at him. "A very stupid one I guess."
