Chapter Thirty One

It's been delayed but I'm back!

"I love you!"

I look over to see my boss walking into my office with a smile on her face before slamming a paper down in front of me.

Looking down at it, I saw the headline of the newspaper before picking it up.

"Diamond McKay found a new lover?"

It was us at the park when she was putting the jacket on me.

I stared at it before looking at my boss. "Who took this?"

"I did." Ryder came in and smiled as he leans on the doorframe.

"And it's a great story." My boss smiles at me.

"How is that a great story?"

"Because Diamond McKay has so many secrets tucked away. She's a professional boxer and famous. Knowing you are dating her is a plus." Ryder spoke.

My boss snapped her fingers before looking at me. "Yes." She smiles at me and I was honestly confused.

"That's invasion of privacy."

"Who cares?" Ryder said.

My boss looks at him. "Don't get carried away with it. There's some things you get but others you have to leave alone."

Ryder just looks at her before rolling his eyes.

I watch as my boss was patting my back, congratulating me for dating Diamond.

"I'm not dating her."

"Fuck buddies?" Ryder asks.

I shook my head then saw my boss pick up the paper then said something to Ryder before walking out.

Ryder watches her before walking further in and leaning on my desk. "You can tell me if you're just fucking her."

"What's your problem?" I ask. "Why are you always trying harder to get ahead? And getting someone's secrets is invasion of privacy. How did you even find us?"

"Um cause I stalk her house."

"You what?" I was completely shocked as he smiled at me before shrugging and leaning off the desk.

He stares at me for a moment before running his head through his hair. "Me and my brother are a team on this. He has a past with Diamond and I'm just taking pictures and getting dirt."

"Who's your brother?"

"None of your fucking business. But if you say anything to anyone about this shit.. I'll come after you."

"Oh I'm so scared."

He looks at me before crossing his arms. "Don't ruin this for me, Journey. I mean it. I know shit about you too."

"Like what?"

"Don't worry about it. But stay out of my way."

He looks at me once more before walking out of the office.

I sat there in a state of confusion and anger.

I couldn't believe he was doing this shit.

Ryder was always the idiot of the company and he was always trying too hard or going too far.

But this time it's gone too far.

He stalks Diamond's house.
