Chapter Thirty Seven

"What!?"

Violet was freaking out when I told her about dating Diamond and I had to calm her down cause everyone was looking at us.

Hayden was telling me that he knew it was coming and he was happy for me.

We were all out eating and I had to let them know that I was Diamond's girlfriend. I wasn't sure how I would say it but I just blurted it out and they both looked at me with a confused look.

"I can't believe it." Violet said. "I can but then again, I can't. I knew it was bound to happen cause you were always over there and with her."

Hayden smiles. "I knew it. Even before you did."

I gave him a look before shaking my head and taking a sip of my drink.

"How did you react when she asked? And how did she ask?"

"I was caught off guard but I didn't freak out. I had my heart hammering against my chest but I kept it cool. And we were in bed when she asked."

"You were in bed!?" She said as Hayden was smirking at me.

"Not like that." I clarified. "Just sitting in bed before going to sleep."

"But you were in her bed?" Hayden asks.

I nodded as I looked at them both. "Yes. We were in bed together."

"That's so cute!" Violet said. "I'm so happy for you."

Smiling, I nodded. "Thanks. I wanted this woman even before I knew I wanted her."

"We all did." Hayden said.

Violet slapped his arm afterwards.

I laughed when he rubbed the spot before looking over at her before shaking his head. I look over at Violet as she was looking at me with a smile.

"I'm really happy for you."

"Thanks." I smiled. "I am too."

She smiles. "That's all that matters."

"You're basically famous now." Hayden said.

Looking at them, I thought about it and didn't really think about the whole famous thing. I honestly forgot that Diamond was even famous cause she doesn't act like it.

She's down to earth more than anything and it made me forget about the whole professional occupation for a while.

Every time I'm with her, I don't see her for the money or fame.

I sometimes forget about the huge house she's living in and everything cause she's all that I see and I don't see any of that.

Now that Hayden said something about it, I knew for a fact that Ryder would be all over me now. I knew that as soon as I went back to work, he was going to figure it out and get all the information from me that he could.

But he won't get shit from me.

If Diamond can keep things about from the papers and all the news, then I could do that also.

I just need to be prepared for anything that will happen now that I was Diamond's girlfriend.

When I was going out for some shopping, I was alone since Violet had to go into work and Hayden was already at work.

It was almost night time.

Seven thirty was the time so the sun was setting.

Diamond said that I could come over but they were going to go somewhere for a while and that she would let me know when they get back.
