Sighing, I leaned my head back before taking random pictures of the clouds above. I was so bored and nothing interesting was going on around me like always.
Nothing to do in this town.
Nowhere to go.
So small and crowded that it was ridiculous.
I didn't want to be at the house cause Hayden hasn't shut up about what happened that day with Diamond.
I walked out of the gym and didn't return.
Well, I went to the car and sat there until it was all over with cause Violet drove.
It was embarrassing cause when they came out, Hayden was looking at me and Violet was asking why I left.
I just told them I didn't feel good, although Hayden could see right through me.
It sucks having an interest with someone and getting humiliated by them every time.
So, I'm roaming the town alone and clearing my mind.
I was at the park, chilling and taking pictures of the sky. I made sure not to point my camera at the kids that were running around cause I didn't want the parents coming after me.
Instead, I was sitting up on the jungle thing taking pictures. I kept having to move out of the way as a kid would run around me and I was scared they would hit me.
I didn't want them tripping over me, then crying about it and one of their parents come after me.
There was a lot of people here today at the park and it was such a pretty day.
It wasn't too hot, so it was a nice day.
This place was crowded though and I've never seen it this packed.
Some kids were running up the jungle thing I was in, going down the slide or running away from each other.
Looking around, half the parents were sitting underneath the gazebo and away from the sun. It was big enough to fit many people but it looked crowded as shit.
As I was looking around, a little girl hit my legs and I look over at her as she smiled. "I'm sorry." I saw her run away and I turn my head in the other direction before seeing her again.
I furrowed my eyebrows as she was coming up the steps and I looked back the other way but didn't see her.
"Hey," I stopped her before she ran past me. "how did you just get from there if you went that way?" I pointed to where she went earlier.
"That was my sister." She smiled before running towards that direction.
Looking at her, I was a little confused before realizing she had a twin. I look around before looking back up and taking more pictures of the sky.
I have yet to get a story for my boss, but I had until next week so maybe something will come up before then.
"Are you taking pictures?"
I look over to see that girl smiling at me before her sister walked up behind her. I look at them and noticed that they are completely identical that it was weird.
"Yeah."
One of them looks up before the other one did the same. "The clouds?"
"Yep." I watch them for a moment. "What's your names?"
"I'm Madison." The one in the front said.
"I'm Morgan." The other one said.
I smiled as I looked at them. "Nice to meet you. I'm Journey. Are you here with your mom and dad?"
"Our dad." They both said.
"Can you take pictures of us?" Morgan said.
I look at her for a moment before looking around. "Um, not sure if your dad would want me too."
"We can ask him."
Before I could say anything, they both ran off the jungle thing bef0re runnin over towards the gazebo. I stared at them for a moment before turning back around and seeing kids running everywhere.
After a few moments, I heard them come back. I look over as Morgan was smiling and Madison was behind her. "He said he didn't care."
"Um, ok."
"Let's go take pictures on the slide." They both ran to the slide and I got up to follow.
I stopped when I noticed I probably wouldn't be able to get through the small space that lead to the slide.
"I don't think I can fit."
"Can you take pictures from there?"
Looking around, I nodded before looking down at my camera and getting it ready. I placed it to my face before kneeling down and looking at them through the lenses before snapping a few pictures.
They were so cute, doing different poses and after a few pictures taken, I was being surrounded by kids that wanted me to take their pictures.
"Um.." I look around as I was being ambushed by kids. "I don't know if your parents would want me too.. kids.. children." I touched one of their heads to get them away from me as I was trying to get off the jungle thing.
I look back to make sure no kids were following me and I saw Morgan waving at me as well as Madison. I waved at them before walking out of the park and away from there before the parents start coming after me.
After I got into my car, I look through the pictures on my camera and didn't really want to keep them but I'll print them out then when I see them again, I'll make sure to give it to them.
I didn't really plan on taking any pictures of kids today but everyday is a surprise.
I did get some amazing shots of the clouds though.
As I was driving around, I kept thinking about some sort of story I could find. I needed something for my boss before next week but what?
Driving around, I looked around to see if anything exciting was happening. I was hoping for a runaway from the prison or a police chase, something big.
Then I thought about Diamond.
I shook my head as I came to a stop sign. I rubbed my face then looked around, thinking about what happened that day when I was completely shut down by her.
It's been two days since then and Hayden has tried talking to me about it but I didn't want to even talk about it.
Diamond was something a little too hard to crack.
If I wasn't so damn interested in her then I would let this shit go.
But I can't.
It's a curse.
After driving around for a while, I kept trying to think of something to do. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do cause I didn't want to go back home right now.
Diamond was on my mind.
This whole story thing was on my mind.
I was constantly thinking and driving myself crazy doing so, I came to a solution that I knew wasn't the best thing but it had to work.
I have to do something to get a little, just a little, closer to Diamond.
The mystery behind her might just be the story I need but I'm not talking about the journal.
I'm talking about this whole interest thing with her.
If I have to fight for it then I will.
