Chapter Twenty Six

"Yay, you're back!"

I was greeted with two adorable girls when I walked into Diamond's house that night. I couldn't help but smile as I was trying to hold onto them when they jumped into my arms.

Diamond was watching us.

I smiled down at them when they were telling me they missed me and knew I'd be back.

"Couldn't stay away." I smile.

Morgan grabbed my hand as Madison did the same and we walked into the living room with Diamond.

She turns around to face us. "Thanks again."

I nodded then heard a voice before looking over and seeing a woman walk in. She smiles at us before walking to Diamond and said something.

"You must be Journey." She extended her hand out and I shook it. "I've heard-"

Diamond grabbed her arm quickly and I saw that woman look over at her before looking back at me with a slight smile.

"It's nice to meet you."

"You too."

"I'm Brooke. Diamond's best friend."

Nodding, I saw Diamond look at her before telling her that it was time to go. I saw Brooke look at us once more before smiling and Diamond gave her kids a hug.

"Be good." She said before looking at me. "Call me if you need anything."

"Got it." I nod before seeing her walk out of the living room with that woman.

Madison and Morgan pulled my arm and smiled up at me. "Ready to have fun?"

"What kind of fun?"

"Anything!" Morgan smiles. "We have this whole house to ourselves."

Looking around, I nodded before looking back at them. "Before we do anything, what does your mom let you do and what does she not let you do?"

Morgan tapped her chin as Madison looks at me. "We never disobey mom's rules. Even when she's not here."

"Good." I smile.

"Did you bring a swim suit this time?" Morgan asks.

I shook my head before being dragged upstairs towards Diamond's room again. I was still amazed when I walked in like it was the first time and stood there as I was looking at everything.

This house will never cease to amaze me.

After they gave me a swim suit, I walked into her huge bathroom and got changed. I was staring at myself in the mirror before looking around and realizing this bathroom was the size of a living room just like her bedroom.

Every room in this house was huge.

It was a mansion.

After walking out, I met the girls just in time when I walked out of Diamond's room. I saw them running down the hall before going down the stairs where I was slowly walking down.

It seemed as though I was in a fairytale cause it was so elegant.

When I finally made it outside, the girls were already getting ready to jump and I looked around as the sun was now setting and it made everything look beautiful.

Then I noticed there were lights in the bottom of the pool.

"I could live in a place like this." I said to myself as I walked down the steps towards the pool. "Not at this particular place but maybe one day I could own something like this."
