The police came later that night and asked a shit load of questions that I was having a hard time keeping up with.

They brought the ambulance too in case I needed medical assistance cause of my bruises and every part of my body hurting.

Diamond stayed near me the whole time, listening to everything I was saying.

I even mentioned about Ryder stalking Diamond's house and telling me personally about everything he did to get secrets from her.

When they finally left, I was more than happy cause answering too many questions were tiresome.

But it was over and now they can go arrest them.

Leaning back against the couch, I thought about everything and knew that the police would do their job and get them before I did something I would regret.

That's been on my mind ever since they jumped me.

Finding them and doing something.

I texted Violet a few minutes before the police got here. I told her everything and of course she called, which I answered and had to answer more questions.

She was worried and I could hear it in her voice, but I told her that the police came and they will handle everything.

"I knew Lance was a bad guy from the start. You shouldn't have got involved with them."

That was true.

Lance was always giving off weird vibes even when he was training me.

Which makes me wonder why he trained me in the first place.

Was it to get revenge on Diamond?

He couldn't have known I was going to beat her.

It didn't make sense.

"What's on your mind?"

I look over as Diamond was sitting next to me and Brooke had walked in before sitting on the arm of the couch.

"Just thinking."

"About what?" She asks.

Shaking my head, I sighed as I looked down at the floor. "Why Lance even trained me in the first place. I can't figure it out. He wanted me to beat you for some reason but he couldn't have known that I was going to."

I look over at them as Diamond was looking at me before looking over at Brooke. She had a slight smile on her face before looking at me.

"You might as well tell her."

Looking at Diamond, she looks back at me as I look at Brooke. "Tell me what?"

Diamond kept looking at me before looking away. "That fight we had.. you didn't win purposely." I stared at her as she looks back at me.

"I let you win."

Brooke chuckles before looking away when I looked at her.

"You what?"

"I let you win."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "How?"

She shrugs. "I just let you win. It wasn't hard."

"Why did you let me win?"

Brooke got more comfortable as she was watching us, enjoying all of this for some reason.

"I let you win cause I wanted that date." She looks away as I stared at her.

I was still confused but I couldn't help but smile as I stared at her.
