"You've been acting weird lately." Violet said as we were on our way to the gym. "Are you ok?"

"I'm fine." I shrug as I look out the window. I was trying so hard to keep my nerves down cause I knew every time I was near Diamond, I could hear my heart pumping in my ears.

Hayden looked back at me as I was sitting in the backseat. I knew I've been avoiding him ever since that day and I've been pretty much trying to not talk about it even when I wanted to.

Violet was already onto me as to why I was acting so weird, but I didn't think I was acting weird.

Maybe I was..

It was cause of Diamond, no doubt.

That woman had my head in a fizzy every time I come here and I still couldn't understand why.

I never act like this towards anyone I've ever became interested in.

All my past girlfriends, before I met them, were different cause I wasn't running around trying to get to know them like I was with Diamond.

It was just something about her.

Hayden already knows something is up and Violet knows now too.

But they have no idea.

"We still need to talk about that day you ran out." Violet said as we were walking in the gym.

I look around before seeing her watch me and I nod. "I know. I don't know what came over me. I'm sorry."

Hayden stares at me as Violet was doing the same thing.

"Are you getting sick?" She asks.

"No." I walk up the bleachers with them before sitting down. "I'm fine."

"You're not fine, Journey." Violet says as she had her arms crossed, standing in front of me. "You've been acting a little weird for a while now."

Hayden nods as he was agreeing with everything she was saying.

I sat there and shrugged as I knew I was acting weird but telling her wasn't something I wanted to do.

Hayden picks on me when he knows I like someone, which I don't like Diamond, but he does make it harder on me to actually find someone attractive.

Violet will lecture me about whatever on this person I like cause she can sense if someone is a bad person, a good person or whatever and she'll go on and on about it.

They both will support me no matter what but in this situation, I wasn't entirely sure.

As Violet walked off somewhere, Hayden nudged my arm and I look over at him. "You acting like this cause of Diamond?"

I sigh as I leaned my arms on my legs and leaned over a little. "Look.. the reason why I walked out that day.. was because Diamond turned me down again when I asked to take pictures. Everyone else was taking pictures but I couldn't."

He pats my back. "Love is a hard one."

I slapped his arm away and stared at him. "Shut up. I don't like this woman. I have an interest in her and the backstory but no liking."

"Sure." He chuckles as he pats my head. "Keep telling yourself that."

Shaking my head, I look around before seeing Violet disappear through the back doors. I leaned my chin into my palm and watched everyone until my eyes landed on Diamond.

She was punching someone's gloves and kicking them. I kept watching her as she was doing an amazing job and her technique was incredible.

"Staring at your future wife?"
