FUTURE

I'd like to formally apologize for the oneshot you are about to read.
Why you may ask?
It's a (not really) long story.

I started writing 'Future' right after finishing 'Yes'. It was completed around the time I was starting 'Flirt'. 
I wanted to do a oneshot about . . . well, I won't spoil it for you. But there's a reason I haven't posted it until now (I just wanted to remind you I was alive ;). 
Also, it has a really bad (and slightly mature) joke at the end. 

So yeah. I hope you at least don't hate it. :)

"Are you sure that this will work?" The amber-eyed girl asked. The blonde next to her groaned.

"Yes, I'm sure, I've had years of experience in doing this," Yako said. The amber-eyed girl nodded. "Just tell them who you are, and I'm sure they'll believe you."

"Alright." The girl stepped in the door.

"I'm looking for Nene Yashiro," The girl explained. Aoi nodded.

"Of course! How do you know Nene-chan?" Aoi asked.

"We're old friends" was the only reply.

Aoi led the girl to the girl's bathroom. "Nene-chan often cleans in here. I'm not sure why. See you!" Aoi skipped down the hall.

The amber-eyed girl opened the door and stepped in.

"Huh?" Nene asked, spinning around. "Oh, hello!" She addressed the girl standing in the doorway.

The girl had amber eyes and platinum blonde hair with teal tips. She was short. "I'm Hana Yugi."

Nene frowned. "Yugi?"

"It's really great to meet you!" Hana smiled at Nene. "And you, too!" She grinned at Hanako, who was perched on the windowsill.

Hanako froze. "You . . . can see me?" Hana nodded.

"I am half apparition, after all." She grinned before floating to the ceiling.

"Half apparition?!" Hanako explained, jumping up to pull the girl back down. "What idiotic supernatural would have a child with a human?"

"Is that even possible?" Nene mused, studying Hana.

"If you're wondering how I got here, let's just say there was a little time travel involved." Hana grinned.

"Time travel?" Hanako asked. He floated to his assistant and hugged her.

"And why do you look so familiar?" Nene added. Hana giggled.

"You haven't figured it out yet? I'm half apparition, and from the future!"

"What a--" Nene froze, a blush spread over her cheeks. "Oh. Ohh."

"What? What?!" Hanako asked, embracing his assistant tighter.

"I think you figured it out!" Hana grinned. "I'm your kid!"

Hanako fainted.

"H-Hanako-kun?" Nene shrieked, watching the ghost crumple to the floor. His eyes were half-closed.

"Oh my gosh . . ." he mumbled. "Future me is an idiot . . ." Nene knelt next to him, still blushing.

"C-can you repeat that?" Hanako asked Hana. She nodded.

"I am your and Nene's kid, and I have come from the future to convince you to have me," Hana said, exaggerating each pronoun and name. Hanako closed his eyes and covered his face with his arm.

"I'm sticking with what I said: I'm an idiot." Hanako sighed and sat up quickly. "Let me check, one more time-- You're Yashiro's and my kid?" Nene blushed deeper.

"Y-you don't have to repeat i-it!" Nene stammered. "A-a-and how did you get here?"

"Yako-sama took me here! I'm supposed to convince you to have me when Nene finishes 9th grade!" Nene starred at Hana.

"Excuse me."

"I'm kidding! Yeesh, can't you guys take a joke?" Hana smirked and crossed her arms over her chest. Hanako burst out laughing.

"Well, she's definitely your kid. She has your weird sense of humor," Nene told the ghost who was leaning on her. Hanako laughed one more time.

"And she looks exactly like you!" Hanako commented, comparing the two girl's hair.

"You guys are acting like doting parents," Hana complained. The two blushed.

"B-but when were you born?" Nene asked. Hana sighed.

"I'm going to quote my uncle and say that I 'was born a few months after Amane and Nene finished college'." Hana used air quotes.

"That must be Tsukasa, but it doesn't sound like him," Nene commented. "And isn't Hanako dead? How can he go to college?" Hana shrugged.

"I never got all the details. Sounds like he made a wish to be alive, or something like that?"

"A wish, huh?" Hanako asked. Hana nodded.

"And since you became human after being this--" she gestured to his ghost self. "--you were still part apparition. So . . ." she threw her arms out. "Tada!"

"Um . . . still confused," Nene said.

"Okay, that's everything." Hana moved for the door.

"Wait! Why did you come?" Nene asked. She stood, and Hanako fell against her ankles. Nene kicked him gently, but he didn't move.

"Besides the fact that I was wondering what you guys were like before you were parents?" Hana smiled. "I wanted to see if he really was dead." She gestured to Hanako. "I guess he was. So, bye!"

Nene and Hanako stared at the door as it closed.

"Would you bet that Tsuchigomori-sensei set this up as a prank?" Nene asked. Hanako laughed and looked up at her. But, since he was leaning against her leg, he ended up looking up her skirt.

"Great view, Yashiro!" Hanako laughed. Nene jumped away, blushing madly.

"Hanako-kun, you hentai! I'm wearing leggings, anyway," Nene said, still blushing.

"Yeah, but you look cute when you're flustered!"

Nene slapped him.
