Ch. 9- Face-To-Face

It's now 8am and I'm just stepping into my office. I place my belongings in their designated spots of my office and I turn my computer on. As I wait for it to load, I look through my phone and sip coffee out of my travel mug.

My morning will consist of office hours open for students and then a Mathematics for Finance course from 9am to 12pm. I don't know what Jin's schedule is, but I really hope to not see him today. I know I'm bound to see him around campus eventually, but I'm not in a hurry to see his face.

It's now 12pm. I'm about to head to my office after my first class of the day. But, as I walk through the long hallway, I can see one of the heads of our department , Stewart Kemp, speaking to a tall man with broad shoulders who's back is facing me. I have to walk past them to get to my office, but I get the bright idea to turn around and stop by the restroom to kill some time and hopefully they'll disappear from the hallway soon.
