Divian's POV
Bright light casts upon my eyes making me flinch and open my eyes. I frown and get up slowly from the bed I'm currently laying on and saw a taller figure opening the curtains. Who is he?
He soon turns around, " oh, You're awake" I feel myself blushing a little as he turns around. He has really beautiful black wavy hair and a chiseled face. His body had a nice sun kissed tone. I quickly look away when I noticed I was literally checking him out. What's wrong with me!
"Who are you?" I clear my throat and faced him.
"Theo, I heard you are Scarlett's friend" he raises his eyebrows.
"Uh yes, well I'm a guard that works there" I smile and he just looks at me. "Uh" I clear my throat again, " I-I'm Divian"
"Oh okay, Well it's currently morning and you slept from yesterday afternoon till now. I'm sure you are hungry right?" He asks
"Uh yeah" I touch my empty stomach.
" I bought bread, it's downstairs"
"Oh okay, thanks" I got on my feet but my legs felt weak all off the sudden and I crash to the floor on my face. "Ow"
"Are you okay?" He pulls my arm up and slowly help me on my feet.
"Y-yeah"
"Are you sure? Can you walk?"
"I-" I pause when I realised how close our faces were. "Um!" I carefully push his hand away,"Yes I can" I dust some dirt off my pants and walk down rev stairs. Man that was embarrassing. Why is my heart beating so fast!? I only just met him! Gosh I hate myself.
I sit down at the dining table and help myself with some plain bread.
"Butter or jam?" He says
"What?"
"You want butter or Jam?" He repeats But clearer for me to understand.
"Oh Butter please" I laugh awkwardly. He passes me the butter and I start spreading some butter onto my bread.
"So" He starts to say as he sits opposite me. "You are a guard at the castle?"
"Yes"
"and you know Scarlett well?"
"Uh yes" I nod my head.
"Could you tell me what happened because I thought she wasn't allowed back here" he leans his head on his palm while his elbow supports his weight.
" oh she have not told you yet?" I raise my eyebrows and took another bite of the bread.
"I have not even seen her yet"
"Oh, well, Some bitter things happened at the castle and now we are here" I scratch my head not knowing how to explain everything to him.
"Bitter things? Is Scarlett okay?" His eyes widens and Inkjow he was worried.
"I remember seeing her yesterday before I passed out, I think she is okay, I mean I, trust you guys since your took care of her before"
"I see, I should visit her later" He leans back into his chair.
"Maybe I should too" I shrug and there was this awkward silence between us. Sigh, just eat your bread, You are not good at conversations.
Scarlett's POV
I stretch my arms and yawned at the same time. The morning birds chirping some how makes me happy. Whenever I was at the castle, I could never hear them, because all my windows are shut. I move the blanket and got on my feet. There was still this heavy feeling about making everyone else feel pressured because of me.
