As she lay her tired body on her bed while scrolling through her phone, she felt her eyes giving up. She was feeling really sleepy as the whole day went pretty much in distress and she did not get any rest. Switching her phone off, she kept it on the bedside table and pulled the blanket to cover herself up before drifting off to sleep.
The night was going pretty well for her as she did not experience any sort of spooky behavior in the house and she easily fell asleep. The first four to five hours of the night was really calm and positive for her, but as the hour hand of the clock started moving towards three, she suddenly started sweating out of nowhere. As she felt the temperature in the room drastically rise, she woke up from her deep sleep. Taking the air conditioner controller, she decreases the temperature of the room. Few minutes pass by but the temperature still does not change. Not understanding the reason behind the sudden increase in the temperature, she ultimately takes off the blanket and switches the night lamp on. As the room gets dimly illuminated, she sees the same black figure sitting on the armchair just in front of the bed, at the corner of the room. She now understood the reason behind why she suddenly started sweating; it was not because of any normal change in the weather, rather it was because of how her body unconsciously reacted to the danger. As the room was not properly illuminated, she could not see the person's face but she could tell that he was wearing all black; head to toe, all black. Sitting up straight on the bed, eyes still fixed on the man sitting a few feet away from her, she tried to grab her phone to call the police. As her hand fumbles with the things kept on the bedside table while searching for her phone, she hears him chuckle. His voice was deep; if it is right to say that his voice was deeper than the ocean, then it was.
"Are you searching for this?" she heard him speak while showing the mobile phone that belonged to her. This was the very first time she heard him talk and his voice was far from a normal person's voice. It was raspy, deep, and very authoritative.
Not understanding what to do, she found herself completely helpless as she had nothing that she could use against him, so she gathered up some courage and ran towards the door; but to her dismay, he was way faster than her; probably faster than any other normal human as well. As she reached her hand to turn the knob of the door she was caught by that monster. One of his hands wrapped around her mouth, preventing her from making any kind of noise while the other hand grabbed her hand that was still on the knob, stopping her from turning it and opening the door. At this point, Y/n already started crying because she thought her end was near. She concluded that this intruder had to do something with her mother going missing as the night when her mom went missing; he did not show up in Y/n's room.
She was struggling to break away from his strong grip but he did not even have to put much effort into holding her back. While she was jumping and hitting him and scratching him on the hands, he just quietly laughed at her tries. He found it very cute as she was almost struggling for her life. He simply dragged her back to the bed and threw her on it. As she landed on her back while her eyes remained closed due to fear as well as the pain that rushed through her body due to the impact of being literally thrown on the bed, she felt the lights of the room turn off. As she struggled to maintain her composure and tried to gather up the courage to face this monster all over again, she somehow opened her eyes to face him. The only thing that illuminated the room a bit was the moonlight and due to the almost equal to zero illumination in her room, she saw his face. She saw the face that she could have never imagined in her entire life would be the one doing these things to her. Although she acted fearless and strong while trying to punch his face, tears started to well up in her eyes and tiny whimpers and sobs escaped her mouth. She realized that the person has realized that she has seen his face. Therefore, to avoid further issues, he tried to suffocate her until she passed out; he almost was successful but his actions came to halt when he heard her speak something in between her sobs.
"Dad?" she spoke before she passed out due to the lack of oxygen.

As she woke up in the morning, she again found her body aching. This time she did not completely forget what happened the previous night rather she had these hazy memories of it. She remembered how she saw someone sitting at the corner of her room and then attacking her; she also remembered how the face was so familiar but she could not recall it now. Shrugging of those bad memories, she made her way to the living room only to find her grandma's bedroom door still locked. It was pretty unusual for her gran to sleep till late in the morning but she anyway ignored it thinking that she might not be feeling well. Time passed by soon and it was around ten in the morning and Y/n was done showering. She did not have her breakfast yet as every day she had it with her grandma and therefore she waited for her gran to wake up just like other days. Although it was really late and Y/n was starting to get anxious, she went to her grandma's room to wake her up. She knocked on the door for some good seconds and after not receiving any reply, she turned the knob and opened it. As she went inside the room she saw the bed was empty and the bedding was totally crumpled indicating there had been some struggle due to something. As she examined the room properly, she noticed that everything was in place and nothing was missing; clearly stating that it was not a case of theft or robbery.
Running out of her grandma's room, she made her way to the terrace to see if her grandma was up on the terrace, but to her surprise, the door of the terrace was locked from the outside; preventing anyone from inside to go outside. She halted at the staircase for a minute before running to her room, grabbing her phone, and trying to call the police. As she was alone in the house, she did not have a good feeling about it. All these things happening to her in the night haunted her, so she made her way to the main door of the house, and surprisingly, this door was also locked from the outside; she was now trapped in the house completely unless she had plans of breaking the windows.
She had a conversation with the same cops that visited her house the other day and patiently waited in the living room for them to show up. After about fifteen minutes, the officers reached her grandma's house and obviously they had to break open the main door to get inside.
After taking the details from Y/n about her grandma, the officers suggested to her that she should go back to her house as it would not be safe for her to stay here anymore; to which Y/n instantly agreed thinking that her house would be safer as the stalker that she had here probably did not know the address of her own house.
