THIRTY-NINE

"Um, yes? Who are you? How may I help you?" Y/n questioned the not so tall man who was standing at her doorstep after ringing the doorbell for some hundred times at one go. Crazy!

"Wow, you have grown up a lot." the man in front of Y/n spoke while eyeing her up and down but it was not that he was giving off creepy vibes.

"Hello, mister! My eyes are up here so it would be great if you look here; HERE!" Y/n spoke while crossing her hands in front of her chest and then pointing at her eyes.

"Oh god, how dramatic. Anyway, I am Sug- uh, I am Yoongi." the not so tall guy spoke.

"Yooongiii? OMG!" Y/n almost yelled at the top of her voice upon hearing his name.

"Oh my god; you are so dramatic, Y/n." Y/n was making cute angry faces at Yoongi after being called dramatic. She could not hide her happiness upon meeting one of her long-lost brothers. Yoongi was happy to see her doing well as well but he was never much of a person that could express their emotions well and that is why Y/n seemed dramatic to him.

"Did you bring Taetae with you?" Y/n asked while sweetly smiling at Yoongi and batting her eyelashes in tries to act cute while asking about her brother.

"That's the reason why I came here."

"But- I want to see him." Y/n said while pouting.

There was a reason why she acted like that. It had been one week since she last met her brother and she wanted to see him. After she met him after sixteen years, she did not want to spend even a single day without seeing him and now, it had been a whole fucking week.

She had no idea where her brother was and what he was up to. She wanted to know why he did not pay her a visit even for one time throughout the whole week. The last time she saw him was the night they both stayed in the hotel and Taehyung told her about his story.

"I am afraid you will ever see him again." Yoongi spoke while looking at Y/n with a blank face.

"Wha- what do you mean? Yoongi?" Y/n questioned while getting a bit nervous as Yoongi made that sudden negative statement.

"I mean- uh- Taehyung is d- dead." now Yoongi's head was hanging low; he was sad too because he lost the only person that stood by him all these years when he had to live with these monsters.

"You- you are joking right? I know you are pulling pranks on me; Taetae always loved to do that. I know." Y/n spoke while nervously chuckling. She did not even remember having a brother in the first place and she was now saying that she remembered her brother pulling pranks on her; it was all for the sake of keeping her mind in place. When she thought she had no one left in this world, the heavens decided to return her the only lost brother she had and now when she wanted to make memories with her brother just like any normal sibling would want to after reuniting after sixteen years, he was being taken away.

"He- he was killed by Namjoon. The night when you both stayed at the hotel and talked about umm, few things that you should not have I guess, he was there in the room with you; Namjoon knew all of it. The next morning the reason why your brother did not return was that he was d-"

"STOP! Stop right there! Just stop." Y/n yelled, staring blankly at the ground while tears dropped on the tiled floor. "What are you doing here? Namjoon would kill you as well. Leave."

"He is out of town; won't return anytime soon and on top of that he would not doubt me. So, it's okay; he'll probably return day after tomorrow." Yoongi assured Y/n.

"Okay, then tell me everything; everything that you know about- about Namjoon or the tribe. I'll burn them alive." Y/n spoke while gritting her teeth. She was extremely sad after listening that she lost her brother as well but more than the sadness, she felt the anger boiling inside her. She knew she was not capable of killing any one of those guys in the tribe, but she was desperate about doing it.

"That's for you to find out Y/n. Trust me, sixteen years ago when all the kids were taken away, that day we were given a whole new identity and we were only supposed to know how much they wanted us to know. Our names were changed; in case you don't know, your brother was named V and I was named Suga." Yoongi a.k.a Suga said.

"So- so what am I supposed to do? How do I find out? What do you want me to do? Tell me!"

"See, he is immortal; you know that right?" Yoongi asked and Y/n simply nodded to his question while sighing. "That's good. So see, although he is immortal, there is something that can kill him which no one knows. Nothing is permanent in this world, Y/n; everything has an end and so does Namjoon. He loves you; although the things that he has done to you are literally something that no one would do to the person they love but it's just that he grew up like that and he thinks violence is the solution to everything. As he loves you; "deeply" you are his weakness too; we have seen him go numb just at the mention of your name so I think you have quite a lot of power on him than you think you do."

"I don't understand Yoongi. Like, what should I do; pretend to love him back?" Y/n asked while rolling her eyes.

"Maybe. See, I am not forcing you to do anything. It's just that, he promised that he would never harm our families but he did; he killed your family and even killed Taehyung. We never thought of going against him, not because we fear him but because we grew up there and we don't want the tribe community to go down just like that but after he harmed you and your family, Taehyung lost it and after he killed Taehyung, I lost it. Therefore, I am thinking of putting an end to this but I can't do anything alone. If you insist on helping, it would be great and otherwise, we just continue with the things just how they are right now." Yoongi knew his words would have a great impact on Y/n's brain. He was playing mind games with Y/n, not because he wanted to hurt Y/n or there was any negative intention to it but because he wanted Y/n to involve herself in his plan of wiping out the whole tribe. He loved Taehyung a lot; he was the only brother he had and his death left a huge scar on Yoongi's heart. "I should go now; I have to go for hunting."

"Hunting humans?" Y/n asked while getting up from her seat and following Yoongi who was already standing in front of the main door.

"That's what we do for survival. Anyway, make your decision and let me know. Let's meet up at the bakery you work; tomorrow."

With that said, Yoongi left Y/n's flat. Y/n all over again found herself on the ground while crying her heart out. Just when she thought that things were falling in place as she had her brother beside her to protect her and also Namjoon almost stopped stalking her, this shit happened.

She and Jungkook were also getting closer day by day and she thought that everything was slowly settling but now that she realized what she was into, she already knew what she had to do. She had already made her decision and all that was left to do was planning the things out properly with Yoongi.
