SIXTEEN

As she ran out of her house to the streets of her neighbourhood, she quickly took a turn towards a road that led to the backside of the neighbourhood which was almost unused by anyone. That place was filled with almost dead trees and some small animals running here there while hunting for their prey. As she got to that place, she tried to find some good spot to hide at least until she manages to call the police. She put her hands in her pocket to pull out her phone and that is when she realized that she does not have her phone with her; she left it in the house, in her bedroom. She was too terrified to even think what she should do next and that is when she saw another black figure stepped out from behind one of the huge trees. As she saw the figure approaching her, she heard that dragon eyed man's voice.

"I know you are here baby. Let's not play this childish game of hide and seek."

She could hear his footsteps come near to where she was hiding as he was walking on the dried leaves that had fallen from the trees. There was a time when she used to love the crunchy sound of the dried leaves whenever she stepped on them but now, it was terrifying to her; scaring the shit out of her.

"You still want to play this game sweetheart? Huh? Fine then; let's do it."

She heard him say while chuckling a little bit. Y/n could feel her anxiety grow as she knew that she will get caught any moment. As the road behind the neighbourhood where she was now was completely dark as it was rarely used by anyone, it became very difficult for her to find a way out of it. She would not stand there for long while hiding from him as she knows that he knows, that she is here. As she slowly and cautiously tried to back away from the tree, behind which she was hiding, she stepped on a dried leaf and that was the last string that she had to pull in order to grab his attention completely. She immediately put her hand over her mouth while trying to muffle the sobs that were escaping. She knew she fucked up and she had to face the consequences now. But before she took another step back, she turned to look towards the direction where she saw the other black figure come out from earlier and she could see how he tried to hide behind the huge tree at the sight of the dragon eyed man that was on a hunt;  special hunt for his baby. She saw the silhouette move towards her but before it was even close to her, she felt someone get a hold of her wrist.

"Boo!" the dragon eyed man said and laughed just like how a maniac would.

As she turned around to look at the man, all she could see in the dark was his glowing eyes; the ones that held flames in them. She cried out loud and tried to take her hand out from his grip, but he was the strongest man that she has ever met.

"Please let me go. Please!" Y/n begged him to let her go but he just laughed while looking at her pathetic condition. It was amusing to him, to see how she was trying to hit him and do everything in her power to get away from him.

He started to drag her out of the place but soon both of them heard someone run past them but as it was completely dark, neither of the two could see anyone. Y/n noticed the change in the behaviour of that dragon eyed man; he seemed to be very concerned. On the other hand, Y/n was scared; she did not just have one stalker now, she had two of them.

She noticed how the man that had a strong grip on her wrist, stopped in his tracks and she could feel his body tense up for a moment as the grip he had around her wrist suddenly tightened. As he was done looking around and was really frustrated by Y/n's 'bratty' behaviour because she was continuously throwing hands, he started to make his way out of the place and into Y/n's house in a hurry. As they almost reached the turn on the road which led to the neighbourhood, Y/n saw the same silhouette from earlier, suddenly appear in front of them and both of them immediately halted their steps but surprisingly this time, her stalker was not concerned; he seemed relaxed.

As the silhouette came closer to where they were standing, she saw him. The same mysterious guy with extremely familiar eyes that she met in the woods the other day, was standing right in front of them both. That day when she saw him for the first time, he was wearing black clothes and today as well he was wearing black but it was way too far from normal clothes. Upon looking up at him with tears in her eyes, she could tell that his clothes and her stalker's clothes were kind of similar. He was wearing a cloak that swept the ground and her stalker wore some similar kind of trench coat.

The two men shared some talks in an alien language that of course she did not understand and after about a few minutes, the man with the dragon eyes looked back at her and let go of her hand. As soon as she felt him take his hands away, she made a run for her life but unfortunately, she could not even run a distance of one meter as the other guy, the mysterious one, caught her immediately. While she was almost jumping and kicking the in air, trying to get rid of the mysterious guy, she felt herself being picked up from the ground and the next moment, she was on his shoulder. Although she could overpower none of the men yet she did not give up; she was fighting for her life although it was of no use. The thing that she could not believe was why this mysterious guy stopped her from crossing the bridge that day when he ultimately had to kidnap her; he could have done it that day itself, right? As she saw 'dragon eyes' walk out of their sight and mix up with the darkness of the night, she thought that this guy would also follow him into the darkness with her over his shoulder but to her surprise, after looking around for any trace of the other man near them and realizing that he was long gone, he walked towards her house quickly after giving her a locket. Y/n was pretty surprised as he suddenly gave her a locket and also was too scared to even ask anything to him and over it all she was running out of energy as well to fight back so she just gave up and let him do whatever the fuck he wanted.
