QUESTION OF THE CHAPTER: What phone do you have?

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

"Where's your girlfriend?" was the first thing Morgan asked when he entered the bullpen. After the whole kidnapping thing and Thaleia staying at Reid's place, the entire team -and basically everyone that worked in the BAU's floor- got used to seeing them together in the early morning and evening. So when the dark skinned man didn't see her, he was curious.

"She left early to visit Oliver" the boy said still reading his book and without lifting his eyes from the pages.

"First of all, you didn't deny the 'girlfriend' part- did something happen over the weekend that I wasn't aware of? And second, doesn't it bother you that she's going to see her ex? Another boy?"

"Well, I have given up on trying to correct you or any of the others, so I no longer care enough to do so. And why would it bother me? They stayed friends after what happened, plus they were never an actual couple, so technically he's not her ex"

"So much for not caring, huh?" the man chuckled "Hello baby girl"

"I'm not up for 'hello' this morning. You!" she approached the boy, who finally looked up from the book. Book which Thaleia had recommended him about a week before "Have you said anything to her yet?"

"Tell her what? And who?"

"Don't play dumb- have you told Thaleia you love her yet?"

"Why would I do that?" he asked nervous.

"So that you two can finally be together? This skinny love is only cute when it's on books or when it's someone else, but not when it's two of my closest friends!"

"Did you know that the phrase skinny love actually has two separate meanings? Both of which are linked to relationships- Skinny love can refer to two people who have very strong feelings for each other, but are too shy to show it... and it can also refer to an existing relationship in which there's no love or emotional fulfilment, but only a co-dependent need for affirmation"

"I don't care about the second one or about your facts! Tell her!"

"Garcia it's not so easy!"

"Oh, but it was easy to do it when she was dying?" at that, the boy didn't say anything, only looked away "Confessing when you think you're going to lose someone is lame, Spencer. Makes that love seem more like a whim"

"It's not a whim!"

"Then prove it!"

"What's gotten into you all of a sudden?" Derek interfered "I get that you want them together, so do all of us- but it's like you're taking this to a personal level"

"Of course I'm taking it personal!" she looked between the two before her eyes focused on Reid again "I'm the one she called crying on Friday"

"What? Why was she crying?" Spencer sat up straight, ready to get up and fight whoever made tears appear in those eyes.

"Apparently you said something about a conversation you two had and she was reminded how much you actually hate her"

"Reid, what the hell?" Morgan turned to the boy as well.

"I didn't! Why would she think that?"

"I don't know, maybe the words 'having you in my life or not having you in it, didn't really influence on it' make sense to you?" the woman was getting angrier by the second "Why did you even say that to her in the first place?"
